Need Help With A Superhero Based Off A God For Champions Online

How do I create a superhero universe? Any tips/ideas?

As a long time Champions player and GM I get into this argument a lot!Decide what is the source of superpowers. This will possibly create limits to what is available but help define your world. A lot readers of mainline comics don’t get this as the big two take a kitchen sink approach. But the indies and imprints do and it is what makes their worlds so much more interesting.A couple of Examples: In the Comico universe most super powers are based on supernatural effects such the Elementals who are the stars of that world. Yes they do fight Alien tech but every hero or villain is based on magic or tied to a God.In the Wild Cards universe all super powers are the product of virulent bio-weapon (Wild Card Virus) tested on earthlings. The powers tended to have a psionic connection. Because of this you didn’t have gadgeteers in the stories for a long time. Until somebody shoehorned them in. Something which I didn’t like. But super powers in the Wild Card world are tied to a plague. And that has social implications. And there is a distinction between those who got dealt a joker (got powers but no longer look human) and those dealt an ace( got powers but still pass as human).I’m currently trying to mull over how to make ordinary super powers and super sorcery different.Aberrant from White Wolf games had a system where their metahumans(mutants) had to worry about taint. The more powerful you were and the more you pushed your powers you risked picking up taint that made you less human. Both physically and psychologically. It is an interesting idea to me.God Send Agenda has an entire metaplot about three alien factions that came to Earth and their conflicts were the basis for our myths. And they are still around as well as the Atlanteans who have similar abilities. What if super powers were tied to the Jungian Collective Unconsciousness? And those Gestalts could empower humans? This would explain why certain motifs in heros keep popping up.And think about power level and when powers show up. As an example in the God Send world one of the alien factions set up tech to block the energies from the Sun that feed the powers. This why the age of myth ended. But those barriers are failing now.Maybe it was the Carrington Event. Ever read about Spring Heel Jack? Or maybe the Earth passing through Halley’s Comet in 1910? Or Nuclear testing in the atmosphere and space in 1950’s and 60’s triggered mutants.Have fun.The Steampunk Justice League of Victorian England

Any Good Free MMORPG Game? Searching Something Special?

So.. what are you looking for? :).. something special.. idk what that means, lol. I throw a list at ya tho -

*Aion - more classic fantasy mmo style but features flight in some areas and cool pvpve mechanics.
*Fallen Earth - post apocalyptic setting, most combat is with guns but can focus on melee.
*Tera - Action style combat, open world (RaiderZ is another good one in this style)
*Vindictus - Instance based action combat (or dragon nest which is the same only more anime type style)
*Mortal Online - Hardcore Sandbox mmo - full loot pvp, no quests, no levels. Skill based leveling - (jump to raise jump skill kinda thing)
*DC Universe - super hero mmo (Champions online is another good superhero mmo)
*Lord of the Rings Online - Very classic/basic fantasy mmo
*Allods - Another class mmo style
*Age of Conan - great combat/combo system, but underneath is slightly basic mmo style
*Path of Exile - isometric (diablo) style action mmo
*Dungeons and Dragons online - mostly instance based mmo (dungeons) but incredibly in-depth character building/skill system to customize your character.
*Realm of the Mad God - browser based 2d sprites mmo, perma-death
*Star Wars: Old Republic - pretty much classic mmo but great voice acting throughout and of course all the star wars lore.
*Star Trek Onine - good content creation system, some parts in regular 3rd person, some in ship.
*Rusty Hearts - kind of the side scrolling action mmo you see from Elsword or MapleStory, but more fun imo.

Would help if in knew kinda what you were looking for :) Just giving a wide range of mmos - those are all great f2p mmos tho
