Do pre-season nba stats count?

No, No

In fantasy basketball, does the pre-season count towards points for players?

The preseason does not count in fantasy leagues.

Good luck.

How can I improve my fantasy football team?

It looks like a pretty good team to me. I’m assuming you start two WR and two RB. that makes Kelvin Benjamin your first WR backup and either Bernard or Jones as your first RB backup.I don’t know anything about Coleman or Michael Thomas - looks like they are both rookie WRs. My fantasy magazine says Coleman has the potential to be a WR3 with upside this year. We all know that rookie WR’s rarely become studs in their first year though, so unless this is a keeper league, I have my doubts about him. Plus I don’t trust RG3 to get him the ball.Michael Thomas is not even listed in the top 25 rookies to watch list, so based on that I think you can do better.According to my list, you have the #5 and #11 defenses, which bodes well for you. I had Carolina’s D last year and they did great for me. I think you should probably start them every week, unless they are playing New Orleans or another high powered Offense and the Jets are playing somebody weak, like Cleveland or LA’s offense.Other than that, I think you have a solid team. Keep an eye on the weekly waiver wire and try to jump on whatever hot players appear in a few weeks.

What do the projected points mean in fantasy football?

The projected points are what the computer simulations believe a player will do. Steve smith is coming off of a foot injury, hence the 2.5. At times very accurate, projected points are just there to "help". I've always gone with my gut because fantasy football is a roll of the dice. A player projected for 7 can have a career day and put 24 points down. And, a player projected for 20 can go down with an injury. Use your gut and stay up to date with news and player info and you'll be good

Does it ever make sense to drop your kicker from your fantasy football team and leave the kicker spot empty?

There is basically no reason to drop your only kicker, but it can make sense to leave your kicker on the bench. For example, suppose you are up by a fraction of a point after Sunday, and your kicker is the only player in your matchup in Monday’s game. If you are confident there won’t be any stat corrections affecting your matchup, it makes sense to bench your kicker and lock in the win, rather than leaving your kicker in and risking a negative score (however unlikely that is). This move is a lot more common with defenses, since they are way more likely to score negative than any other position.

How Long Does A Live Fantasy Football Draft Last?

I have been in many online drafts and the longest one I can think of was probably a little over 2 hours.

So I think you can expect it to be 2 hrs. 15 mins. or less. And really, most people don't trade after the draft. The drafts this year have gone faster. You are better off joining a created league because it is more likely everyone will be at the draft. I did a 10 team draft with like 22 rounds in about 1 hour 45 minutes.
