My dog ate an electrical plug, and night light?

I have an english bull terrier and he was up stairs in my room where i thought he was napping, and then a few minutes later i hear this huge yelp and he comes running down the stairs and hides in the corner, and i run upstairs and see he has ate part of a night light that was plugged in, along with the circuit thing, and im guessing he was electrocuted. When I came back down he was fine, but what should i look for for signs i should bring him to the vet? thankss!

How does the Moon reflect the light in the night, though the Moon is shielded from the Sun by the Earth throughout the night?

Moon is shielded from the sun by the earth only on lunar eclipse day/night. Rest of the night moon reflects the sun light in the night.Moon is not in line or same plane with earth and sun other than lunar eclipse day/night. So moon reflects light. If moon always in line with earth and sun in night than we never able to see moon from earth in night.

Why do some shops keep their lights on at night even after they've closed?

There are two main reasons. One is theft/vandalism deterrence. A well lit store is easy for security cameras, private security guards and police to keep an eye in the store. Thieves are reluctant to work in the light where they can be seen by the above plus passerby who might call the police. The cost of a breakin window smash and grab could well exceed the cost of lighting for a year.A second reason is for advertising purposes. People passing by can see the window displays. They can also see the sales and advertising signs and the inviting display of products and wealth of inventory carried in the store. Some pass by stores at night that would not normally be aware of such a store. So its good advertising. Finally a bad impression can be had of a store which is not lighted and looks derelict, even though it may only be closed for the night, especially if the store next door is lit up.I will note that this apparently applies to the US. On visits to Europe I find the stores strangely dark and the parking lots dark after business hours. That may be a consequence of expensive electricity or perhaps just a different mindset. I know in Europe, for example, electrical energy is about 3 times the cost in the US.I also think that proportionately, the electric bill for lights at night are a small part of the entire electric/utility bill which includes a vast amount of airconditioning and heating. Usually retail store lighting has been of the flourescent tube type which is considerably cheaper than incandescent.

Do all airplanes flicker blue and red lights and night?

All aircraft are required to have a green navigation light on the right side, a red navigation light on the left side, and a white navigation light on the tail. These lights must be on from sunset to sunrise, and are steady burning. These lights help other pilots determine which way that aircraft is moving at night. The lights you see flickering are strobe lights which not all aircraft have. These lights are usually co-located with the navigation lights so it may appear the nav lights are flickering. Aircraft also have a red flashing beacon light.

Should I use a night light for chameleons when they sleep?

no you dont need one. veiled chameleons can safely handle a night drop down into the 70's. you only need a heat lamp for the day which you can keep on for 12 to 14 hours as well as a uvb bulb

When is the darkest part of the night?

Generally a little more than half way between sunset and sunrise because by then people are out on the road less and turning off lights.
