No Payment Due Date For My Discover It Card

Why is My Discover Credit Card Current Payment Due Date Pending?

I got my discover credit card activated for the first time about 1 month ago and have several hundred on it right now. I wanted to know when my due date was to see how long I had to pay it off because I have money I am waiting on, but could pull out of my savings if I had to for the payment... but it says my current payment due date is pending... it doesn't even give me a due date? I have another credit card I've had for three years and don't get what is up with this.

I called in my discover card payment on Saturday around 9 a.m. It says payment is processing and it's Sunday at 6pm still.. Think Monday?

What is the reasoning for it saying payment processing? You think since discover card usually sends me stuff Monday - Friday (business days) all payments made over the phone on weekends will post on Monday?

Thanks

No payment due date for my Discover It card?

Had a few questions regarding my Discover Card:

1) I activated my new Discover It card in Early to Mid August, and although I have already made a $93 payment about a week ago, I still have no payment due date (just says N/A)

2) I thought after you make a payment, I am supposed to receive Cashback Bonus, something like 2% for gas and restaurants and 1% on all other purchases. My cash back balance is still $0.00

3) If you know how the Discover Deals works with the 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25%.cashback deals with certain retailers. Can you help explain how that works.

This is the first time I have owned a credit card and am trying to build my credit score. just need a few pointers. Thanks so much.

How do I determine when my credit card payment is due for my Discover Card?

on the reverse side of your card is your customer service 800 no. call them with your questions. they will need your account no. so have your card there. ask when the bill cycle closes and also your bill due date. ask them to explain the differences between the two so you understand exactly how they work.

Discover credit card question?

Your anniversary date is the month you first started using your Discover Card. Your cash back bonus is tied to it. If you started your card up in August of 2009 this month would be your anniversary month. Next month your purchases reset back to zero for the cash back calculations.

My Discover card (which I use to pay my Sprint bill)has been compromised. How do I handle this?

Discover Card has notified me that my account has been compromised. I will not have a new Discover card number for 7 to 10 days. Can you give me an answer as to how to proceed?

Does anyone else hate DISCOVER card?

I absolutely HATE the discover card and the people who work for them! I do know that if you pay your bill before they send it out you can save $15! The told me that b/c I couldn't get my bill down and wondered what all the darn fees were. They carge you $15 to send out a bill!!! You need to pay it off ASAP and get a new card! OH and...No busness' take discover b/c they charge more than any other card like visa and mastercard etc...I HATE THEM!

Which one is a better credit card? capitalone or discover?

Capitol One cards (MC and VISA) typically have really good bonuses, points, whatever, but NEVER pay late. Never, ever, ever. And, they need to have your payment in the building 3-5 days before the due date to be sure it is processed on time.

And, when you call to cancel the card because you get too many undeserved $39 late fees, expect to be on the phone for about an hour. 20 minutes to get a human on the phone, then about 40 minutes listening to them do everything they can to make sure that you do not leave them.

On the other hand, not all stores take Discover, and it see very limited use outside of the US. If you travel internationally, or plan to, Discover might not be your best bet. The cash back bonus is nice, the no fee is nice, and they do have competitive rates.

As to which card is the best, no fees, low rate, I normally go with the Mastercard or Visa offered through my credit union. Typically, it is a low rate, no fee, and you gain points for stuff with almost all of them.

Go to BankRate.com and compare the ones that you interested in.
