Not Really Had Phones Like Iphone Before But Thinking Of Buying 4s Or S3 Which One

Should I buy an iPhone SE in 2018?

It’s up to you. I think the question is more about ‘do you want to buy an iPhone SE in 2018’. That’s not a thing ‘should be done’ or ‘should not be done’.Between iPhone SE and other iPhone models, there are two biggest differences, the price and the size. iPhone SE is the cheapest iPhone compared with all available iPhone models, but also the smallest. So if you really want to buy an iPhone SE, first ask yourself: Are you satisfied with a 4 inch screen? It’s said that iPhone SE has 6S’s processor, so it sill have good performance, and also has longer battery usage for its small screen. But if you get used to bigger screen, SE won’t be a good option for you.I once used 5S, so I enjoy using small iPhone, and I got mine just in months ago, in the January of 2018.Note that SE won’t have 3D touch and Face ID, and it doesn’t have a secondary camera. And it’s almost three years old, younger than 6S, but older than 7.

Should I buy an iPhone 6 or Samsung Galaxy S3?

Two things here:1) If we are talking about Samsung Galaxy S3 (model number i9300), you should avoid this phone. It’s a plastic-fantastic kind of device which is long past its support cycle. Besides, Touchwiz is rather annoying on this one.2) There is no contest between i9300 and iPhone 6 - iPhone is significantly better in this case. Which should not come as a surprise - i9300 is 2 years older.

Will an iPhone SIM card work in an Android phone?

Absolutely. As long as its the right size. If your Android device uses nano-SIM, then the SIM cards in the iPhone 5 and later will work. If it uses micro-SIM, the SIM cards in the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4s will work. If it uses the old-fashioned mini-SIM (or "full-size" SIM), the SIM cards in the iPhone 3GS and earlier will work. All the SIMs will work in any Android phone with any SIM card slot, its just a matter of cutting your SIM or enlarging it using an adapter if it is not the right size for your Android phone. For example: if your Android phone uses micro-SIM, and you have an iPhone 6s, which uses nano-SIM, you will need to get a nano-to-micro SIM adapter (very inexpensive; try Amazon if you don't have one) to pop the nano-SIM into the adapter so it will fit in the larger micro-SIM slot. Conversely, for example, if you have an Android phone that uses nano-SIM, and an iPhone 4s that uses micro-SIM, you will need to cut it from the larger size to the smaller size so it can fit in the smaller slot for SIMs. Or get another SIM. This kind of situation usually doesn't happen; iPhones tend to have smaller (and newer-type) SIM card sizes than Android phones. More than likely, it will either fit fine (from nano-SIM to nano-SIM, for example), or it will need an adapter (from nano-SIM to micro-SIM) so it can fit in the Android phone. Sorry for the longer-than-expected answer on a seemingly simple question!

Would you recommend an IPhone rather than a Samsung Galaxy for someone not technologically inclined?

Hello Meredith,

It is generally accepted that Android-based phones, like the Samsung Galaxy series, have a steeper learning curve than most smartphones. This is owing to the more advanced functionalities present; most are never explored by the average user.

Whilst I can recommend the iPhone, I can also recommend Windows Phone (my smartphone of choice). The Nokia Lumia 928, has a larger screen the iPhone (4.5") with an all day battery life, but the software is also very easy to use (halfway between Android and iPhone). I'd certainly recommend getting hands - on experience with the devices, to make an informed decision.

Hope this helps!

Verizon iPhone 4S replacement phone for free with insurance?

the insurance is through a company called Asurion. the 9.99 gives you lost, stolen, damaged and extended warranty coverage.
If your phone gets lost, stolen or damaged you will file a claim with asurion and the price for the deductible for an iphone is $169. thats asurions price not verizon's.
however since you have an extended warranty if anything manufacturer wise happens to your phone then you get a free warranty replacement through verizon.
theres also apple care where you pay a lump sum for 2 years of protection but thats through apple and you'll have to ask them what it covers exactly.

If everyone I know loves their Windows phone, then why doesn't anyone else buy it?

I personally think it comes down to this, there are people buying and recommending Windows Phone, but it really comes down to the carriers and their sales people to push and sale the devices. People can love their phones all they want but if the populace is not aware of Windows Phone, then how exactly would they know to buy it? Windows Phones are competing with iOS and Android, two phones operating systems that historically have gotten pushed far more than Windows Phones have. When a customer who doesn't care which phone or operating system they end up with and goes into a their local carrier/Bestbuy store, they mostly either get told to buy an iPhone or the newest high end Android phone. So when the sales people aren't even trying to sale your phone, or are trying to convince people to pick another os over yours, how exactly are you supposed to sale them outside promoting them with advertisements? The only Windows Phone OEM who has been trying to change this has been Nokia since their introduction of their Lumia 900. Whether this will make a difference in the long run remains to be seen. As for the advertisements, Microsoft has historically put out some horrible advertisements for WP but as of late has seem to turn this around in different ways, like their Smoked by Windows Phone campaign. Also some think (and I tend to agree) that the name Windows in Windows Phone was a horrible choice for the name of their new OS. People tend to think of Windows as uncool, or buggy, or things like that, and that isnt the first thing you want to pop in a potential customers head when they hear of your new struggling OS. They could of named it something like Metro Phone and kept it from being associated with the negativity that comes with the brand Windows. At the end of the day of course its not just up to the carriers to get the word out, about Windows Phone, hopefully with the launch of Windows 8 and the Microsoft Surface more and more people will find out how awesome of an phone and tablet OS Windows Phone is. I like my Windows Phone, the Samsung Focus, been rocking this baby for a year now and its still going strong :)

Are white phones seen as girly?

I want to buy the Galaxy S3, but it only comes in white and a weird purple-ish shade of blue. I'm probably going to get the white one, but some people have said that white phones are for girls. is it true?
