How many people use Google or Yahoo Groups?
I've used Google Groups on 4 to 5 occassions, and while I think the tool could use SEVERAL improvements, it works well for virtual groups to file documents, share meeting minutes, and relay information about meeting times etc. The challenge with Yahoo Groups is that you need a yahoo email address, and have to have all your members sign up for one - an extra step that can seemingly be a pain.
Why are attachments not displayed in yahoo groups?
Some groups don't even allow attachments due to the possiblity of spreading a virus or similar malware. The groups that do allow attachments you have to sign up to receive individual emails for each post. That way you receive the attachment with the email for that post.
