Opinions On These Two Boy Names

Honest opinions on these two girl names?

So we had Colette Willow pretty much set in stone to use if we have a girl but now my boyfriend is saying that he prefers Madeleine. Whilst I love Madeleine, I love Colette a little bit more! Lol.

What are your thoughts on the names Colette and Madeleine?
Which would you choose?
We wouldn't call her Maddie by the way, just Madeleine.

Thanks for your help
♥lucie.

Opinions on the boy's name "Auren"?

I love the name Aurelian for a boy, but my husband hates it (says it's too girly) and I honestly I would worry that our son would be teased by other children for his name. I also like Aaron, which sounds similar, but my husband doesn't like because he says it is too commonly used (Ditto for Owen, my grandfather's name). We both like name Auren, which also sounds similar but is an "American" name, which I equate to being made-up. What do you think of the name Auren? Do you prefer any of the other spellings or suggestions?
His middle name will be Robert (which was also shot down for a first name by my husband for being to commonly used).

Auren (American): Laurel or heard. We would use "Ren" for a nickname.

Aaron (Hebrew): Exalted, strong.
Oren (Hebrew): Jerusalem pine
Orrin/Oran (Irish): Green
Owen (Welsh): Desire born

Opinions on these "odd" names?

Elessar! OMG! *squeals like a happy piglet* I hope you name your kid that. I really do. Maybe then my daughter (she'll be Estel when she gets here) won't be the only child in the real world named after Aragorn...

I've actually heard of a Cellinn before (pronounced SELL-en), but it was a girl.

I love Sailor too. It reminds me of that flirty phrase you would hear a lot in old films, "Hey, sailor!" xD

Archer is pretty darn cool. I don't have much to say about it otherwise, only it's just so mind-blowingly bad-***.

And Elladan! Pure brilliance.

No comments on the other ones, but I seriously love ALL of those names.

I'm going to rate them, so here goes:
Thaden-8
Elessar-10+
Archer-10
Axel-7
Phoenix-10
Beckett-7
Sailor-10
Madden-7
Kellan-7
Kellinn-8
Elladan-10+

I know I didn't give any of them a nine, but there you go anyway!

Opinions on these names (both boy and girl names)?

First a little question before I list the names.. I have a friend that I used to hang out with 4 or so years ago, she had a daughter named Alyssa. We hung out for an entire summer, it wasn't anything long term. She moved to Florida and we've stopped talking since. Anyway Do you think it'd be wrong of me to name my future daughter Alyssa? I wouldn't use the name middle name, but I've grown to like the name Alyssa.

Anyway so now some names :D

Girls:
Selena Rae
LilyAnne Hope
Kyla Christine (My mom's name is Christine)
Alayna Reese

Boys:
Kacen Drew (Drew is my grandpa that passed away)
Tyler Michael

So if you could rate them 1-10 or something that'd be great (: Thank youu!

What are some unique or classic boy names that I can use for twins?

You should choose names for twins the same as you would for any other kids.Giving them “twin” names or rhyming names tells people they’re a matched set not individual people. Same-sex twins (even fraternal ones) are often confused for each other and giving them similar names aggravates that.I do have a few pieces of advice:Give them names that are similar “weight.” Don’t name one Hieronymus and the other one John. Don’t give one a traditional name that’s been in your family for generations and name the other one after a Star Trek character. (I’m not commenting on whether or not any of these are good or bad choices; I’m just suggesting you don’t mix them.)Doctors usually label multiple births A and B. You’re not the first person to think of using names starting with those two letters and it limits your choices. Nothing wrong with a name starting with A or B if you like one but don’t do it because you think it’s a unique idea.Instead, give each one a name with a different first initial. Separate initials are very convenient not only for labeling things when they’re young but later when schools want to identify kids by + .When we were expecting our twins, everyone wanted to know whether we were expecting boys or girls and what we were going to name them. We came up with a list of bad names that we’d tell them. Please don’t use any of these!Pete & RepeatKate & DuplicateClark & KentBruce & WayneAnna & HannahMario & LuigiThelma & LouiseBert & ErnieBen & JerryBryan & ByronMaya & Mia

What are your opinions on these possible baby names?

1 = BAD ~***~ 10 = GOOD

9/10 - Justin Cole Alexander: Good, masculine name, good flow and sound - I love the Alexander, but probably wouldn't use Cole and almost definitely (personally) use Justin...
5/10 - Devin Taelor: Devin is almost more popular with girls then boys, and I like boys names to be masculine... I do not like the misspelling of the name Taylor...
7/10 - Brian Abel: I like the names individually, but the flow/sound of the two together doesn't work for me...
5/10 - Marcus Aiden: Not fond of either name...
6/10 - Zach Alan: Would prefer Zachary Allen (which would be a 10/10) with a nickname of Zach...
2/10 - Zeb Blaine: Zeb looks like it should be a nickname, not a full, first name (short for Zebadiah maybe?)... Blaine I don't like at all, but it isn't bad in the middle name position...
8/10 - Malik Abram: Personally, I wouldn't use this... but if I had an Arabic background (or my child would), then it would be a good name...
7/10 - Ian Russell: Flow doesn't work for me, and I'm not fond of Russell...
4/10 - Randy Dwane: I don't think that Randy as a first name, a nickname for Randolf or Randall... Not at all fond of Dwane (something about the sound... harsh...)
------------------------------
10/10 - Sarah Louisa May: Beautiful, classic, feminine name - very pretty with a nice flow/sound...
4/10 - Mary Jayne: Mary Jayne (no matter what the spelling) reminds me of spider man's girlfriend or the shoes...
2/10 - Carleigh April: I HATE the spelling of Carleigh, not fond of Carlie/Carly as a first name, as it seems too diminutive and nickname-ish... April isn't bad...
3/10 - Jazzmyne Carolina: I don't like misspellings... (I think I might have said that once or twice already - LOL)... Jasmine Carolina with a nickname of Jazzy would be a 10/10...
1/10 - Kindal Ellyn: Misspelling, and Kendal is a masculine sounding name (IMO)...
8/10 - Joyce Virginia: I prefer Virginia Joyce with Ginger as a nickname... (would be a 10/10)
1/10 - Mellyana Jenae: misspelling or made up, I can't tell... The pronunciation of Mellyana isn't as intuitive as I would like... Jenae is pretty...
1/10 - Junea Marie: Junea is the same as Mellyana above... Marie is a very pretty name!
10/10 - Kimberly Michelle: Beautiful, classic, feminine... the flow/sound works well, and this is a name that an adult could easily live with :-)

HTH :-)

What you think about the boy names Kimoni and Keyon'Dre?

Lunarfish your a ***** & I want creative names instead of boring common names. Don't tell me to stop being creative, if your not creative in some way your life will be boring. So get a life-& Im gonna keep livin mine♥

Jericho (boy) and Jezebel (girl)? Opinions? MIddle names?

Love the name Jericho!! Haven't heard that used before, but it has a great Biblical story behind it, and it's a good strong name for a boy!

Jezebel is another story, though...as many people have already said, Queen Jezebel was not such a nice lady (to put it mildly), and just about everybody will think of her when they hear your daughter's name...also the meanings for Jezebel aren't too nice either..."follower of idols" (from babycenter.com) and "not exalted" (from behindthename.com). While the name itself has a pretty sound to it, it's just not worth it for the connotations that go along with it.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS (in response to Rebecca M. below): Yes, the town of Jericho was destroyed, but the battle was a great victory for the Israelites! And as far as Jezebel and John the Baptist...Jezebel was a queen in the OLD Testament...John the Baptist is in the NEW Testament...the woman responsible for John's death was Herodias...yet another woman that no-one should name her child after!
