Pain In My Right Leg Where My Butt Meets The Back Of My Thigh

Muscle pain right below butt?

Ok I know this sounds weird but I've had this constant muscle pain/tightness right below my butt. Like right where my butt meets the back of my thigh. I've had this for the past like 6 weeks and it hasn't really gotten better. I thought that it'd go away after a while but that's no the case I guess. I have found these stretches that kind of help but after I do them it hurts even a little more. I just started high school soccer 5 days a week. I'm just getting kind of worried that it's not going to get better. I sometimes use a heating pad at night but is there anything else I should be doing? And is this something that could be healed easily? Please help soon! Thanks!

Pain in the crease of my butt and thigh? can I realign my pelvis?

I have had chronic stiffness where my butt and thigh meet. I dance so you can imagine that it gets in the way especially when I start to feel pain. I can get it to loosen up for like 5 minutes, but after that, it goes back stiff. I did physical therapy, icing and heating, I've stretched here and there, andtried massage therapy. I got an MRI recently and it showed nothing. I recently found out that maybe I should see a chiropractor because my pelvic area may be out of line which could definitely cause chronic stiffness in my hamstrings. Anyone know any techniques to realign my pelvis? Is there any way to pop my bones so as to relieve my hamstring? I can't afford to go to a doctor right now after tht MRI. Please help.

What could be causing pain in my legs and hip?

What you are describing does not sound like ALS. (Please ignore the other comment. This is certainly not AIDS.)

I would refer you to a rheumatologist. You're already seeing one. There's nothing wrong with asking who your rheumatologist would suggest you see for an exam. Especially in mysterious cases, doctors consider it helpful to get input from other experts.

Your doctor may already be consulting with other docs to get their thoughts.

Anyone know what this is? Pain in inner thigh down to knee?

that very much sounds like something wrong with your nerves. you have two major nerves in your legs. sciatic and femoral. your sciatic goes through your hip bone down where your bum is and swings down. your femoral starts near your pelvic bone and all the way down. to make it sound simple they both meet around your knees, hence why your pain starts up top and feels like the pain is going straight to your knees. id talk to your doctor asap. you can tell it is nerve pain if you feel pain "under your skin" but do not have any abrasions, you feel a "tingling or stinging" pain, and severe pain if you were to have a pinched nerve. talk to your doc!! good luck
