Can I pay a years worth of child support at once?My son's mother had run into some financial difficulties and she asked for a couple months of child support in advance. Would it be legal to do so and if we go back to court within the next year will it come back to bite me in the a$$. I would like to help out but I don't want it to backfire

I am in the same situation as your current wife. It isn't fair to her and to your new child. My husband actually went to a fathers rights attourney to get help. He was paying almost 75% of his paycheck and we lost our house because of it. We were both working two jobs, but all our money went to child support. Try looking at the websites for Fathers Rights. He is paying what he owes, but that doesnt mean the rest of his, his wife and son should suffer because of it.
When is a child support payment considered late?
Technically it is late but not by much, only two weeks....hey at least you're paying it...my sleezy ex husband owes me over 5k and is currently hiding out in Florida to avoid paying while I struggle to buy food, clothing, and heat for my children. Don't worry about it. If you are worried, you can get the court to change the payment dates to twice a month instead of a lump sum due on the first.

i pay my support and i do owe arrears and they added that on as well, it is taken out of my check,so i am paying it , this is my car to get back and forth to work and to pick my kids up in ,i take good care of my kids
