Pc Vs Console Gaming Online

PC gaming VS Console gaming?

PCs DO NOT go to crap in a year, unless you constantly kick and unnecessarily open it to feel around.

There is much more customization and freedom with PCs. You can play games at higher settings than consoles (little known fact, the Medium setting for most PC games is usually the setting for consoles). The keyboard + mouse setup may take a bit of time to get used to if you've always used consoles, but after you nail it down, it's great for FPS games or, heck, any game. If you know what you're doing, you might even be able to build a strong PC for even less than £650, maybe even less than the console. There's Skype, Steam, WinAMP, web browsers (that don't suck), and best of all, mod support for games. Plus, if you're an indie developer, it's very easy to publish and sell your games. The only bad thing is that you MAY be susceptible to viruses, but it's not that hard to prevent and/or remove them.

Compare that to the Xbox One. You will definitely have TV, Skype, and games. You won't have to worry about viruses. However, it will most likely be very strict on how you can customize it. There's no mod support unless you hack the system, restricted indie development, a few apps, and you're limited to a gamepad setup.

What is your opinion on PC gaming vs console gaming?

PC gaming is better in almost every way.You can customize the hardware, but you can’t do that with consoles. Whatever hardware a Playstation or Xbox uses, you’re stuck with it.If the graphics card in my PC is old and out dated, I can buy a new one, take out the old one, and install the new graphics card in.Building a PC is almost like playing LEGO. It does take a long time if you’re building it from the scratch, but if you just want to replace a graphics card, it’s quick and easy.PC games can have better graphics and frame rate (depending on how strong your graphics card is). I also like the text chat with players when playing online, but obviously you can’t do that on consoles. The biggest problem with PC gaming is the money. All the hardware, including a monitor that can have a really high resolution and frame rate and a mouse that has a somewhat high DPI (I prefer laser mice), can be very costly. But I still prefer PC gaming. When I started PC gaming 3 years ago, I forgot about console gaming.

PC vs Console Gaming?

Right now, PC gaming has been kicking a**, but do you think it will still be a very popular thing in, let's say.... Next ten years. Also my little brother has f***** up my PS4, so I need to get a new gaming device either: Gaming Computer or Console, what would you recommend? (list pros and cons) , thanks

PC gaming vs Console gaming?

Go for the xbox bro it's better online
You have to remember though do feel more comfortable playing pc games or console games( yes there is a difference) the downside to xbox live is its not free but the plus side is it's reliable and very comfortable. The downside to pc games is that some pc games require you to change your settings before playing them causing you to toggle back and fourth between games. The plus side the community is huge and you barely get caught up on the -"finding players" stuff. Personal I would go with xbox just cause it feels comfortable and you get that satisfaction when you get that double kill in Halo haha but other then that they are not that different

Poll: Console Gaming vs. PC Gaming?

I prefer consoles as my main gaming platform. Though PC has a vast library of games, most of the very good games are console exclusives. I could scroll through 50 indie platformers and still not feel the satisfaction of playing Super Mario Bros.

Though PCs will always be a step ahead of consoles in terms of power, I think consoles will always be a step ahead of PCs in terms of games in my opinion, and at the end of the day, the games is all that really matters.

Aside from this, I also feel like consoles are somewhat more reliable than PCs, because consoles don't necessarily slow down after a while, which PCs tend to do from time to time, sometimes for no specified reason at all. Another reason includes upgrading, because I find it easier to buy a console than to replace all of the outdated hardware in a PC, because being honest, taking apart a PC and knowing exactly what you are doing is a lot harder than it sounds.

Is PC gaming fun as much as console gaming?

Yes, for many reasons.First, and most obviously, a PC can be built with better hardware. So we’ve already got a winner. But let’s keep going.Modern-day consoles require you to pay monthly subscriptions to play _any_ of their games online whatsoever. There may be a few specific PC games that want monthly subscriptions (such as World of Warcraft), but generally speaking on the PC you only have to pay for a game once instead of buying a game and then continually paying more money just to be able to play it online. Game consoles are cheap because they’re sold at a loss; Microsoft (or Sony, or Nintendo) can count on making the money back in monthly subscription fees, so that’s where they get you.Even if that’s not enough to convince you, it’s worth considering peripherals. Consoles now are starting to include keyboard and mouse support, but generally speaking it’s much wonkier so far than on a PC. On the other hand, PCs can support controllers just fine. So you’ve also got a wider range of control options on your PC.Now here’s the part that would make you almost foolish to buy a console instead of a PC - not only does the PC do all the gaming stuff better than a console, it also does everything else PCs do. You can file your taxes, do your homework, store family photos, write software, and you can upgrade individual components to keep it modern.People may poke fun at PC gamers for being so high-and-mighty about how much better their platform is, but when you stand back and take a look it really is a no-brainer.

Gaming pc vs console arguement?

The argument does have a few flaws but is almost sound when it comes to games. Look at Dragon Age; the game for any console cost $10 more than the PC counterpart.

As for those that state it is an 8 CPUs in the PS3, they really do not know the architecture of the PS3 cpu. The Cell possessor is a single CPU at 3.2Ghz using PowerPC architecture with 7 minor possessors for quick mathematical equations. Think of the 7 minor possessors as calculators; they do not have much power. As for computers that have 8 CPUs, they are called mainframes, which a PS3 is not.

Another argument is that the graphics card is equivalent to the nVidia 7800 which is over 5 years old or 3 generations.

The only thing that the PS3 does have an advantage is the "put the game in and play" aspect and at $300 + taxes, it is a nice option for gaming.

I will still go with my PC in the end as there are some games that can not be done on console (Civ IV anyone).
