People Cannot Reply To My Emails

Dont you jsut love it when people dont reply to your e-mails ?

Bloody irritating! I emailed James-I've-had-another-good-idea-Purnell three days ago and he hasn't replied. Think he must be off sick

Why do people not respond to emails?

Pick up the phone and talk to them, or go and visit.People ignore emails for a variety of reasons but the most common is that they cannot reply quickly and easily. For example the supervisor may be dissatisfied with the doctoral candidate, they might be enjoying the free labour while the student waits for their defence. Alternatively your emails might all be going to spam by accident, or maybe they’re behind on a project and decided the only way to catch up is turn off email. If email is not working then you need to try something else. To say that the person is obliged to respond as a condition of their employment might be true, but it completely ignores the human aspects of the situation. I would strongly suggest changing your approach before lodging a complaint with HR.

Why some people don't reply to emails?

We have to remember, emails are still a new way of communicating. Not till the mid 90’s, letters were mailed. Depending on the size of a company, letters were handled by secretaries.Once emails kicked in, it's become the norm for communication. I have had co-workers, sitting at the next desk, send a one-line email, expecting an email answer instead of just asking. As time has gone, more emails would come through the company's email server. Some from co-workers but mostly from clients. I preferred an email vs a phone call because it gave me time to research the clients questions. I tried to answer or at least acknowledge all emails by the end of the day.Emails require typing. Fortunately, I'm glad I took typing classes in high school so sending or replying to an email was not a big deal. Those that hunt and peck keys on a keyboard are usually the slowest in replying to an email. If the intended recipient is always slow on replying to your email, ask him if he preferred that you call or text by phone.Another possibility, the recipient is just lazy or hates to be bothered by an email. If it's a genuinely important email, note URGENT in the title line. Add, please respond ASAP or within 24 or 48 hours. However, the recipient has to check their email in order for him to see the URGENT tagline. It's probably best to send a text or call to back up your email.Kind of bizarre one can text all day but cannot type!

How should I deal with people who don't reply to me?

If these folks don't advance your professional life or add pleasantly to your social life, why bother? I'm not being flippant, I'm asking honestly. I would not bother with anyone who ignores me on a consistent basis -- I'd just assume they're not especially interested in being friends with me. After all, the people I consistently ignore are the ones I am not interested in being friends with. To be honest, I think it's kind of socially unsophisticated to ask why one is being ignored. I've certainly been ignored and disliked it, but I took it for what it was: a brushoff. And that's okay -- you can't win 'em all. It's also pretty unproductive... you'll likely get a diplomatic response like, "I've just been soooo swamped. Hope all is well with you, let's grab drinks later. I'll let you know when my schedule clears." Of course, later never comes.Just leave it alone and don't worry too much about it. Not everyone you cross paths with will want to engage in a friendship -- often for reasons that have nothing to do with you. I would stop issuing invitations to anyone who ignored them two or three times in a row.

I am not receiving replies to my e-mail when person "use reply button" what can I do to fix it?

Sounds like you have a corrupt "reply to" setting. You probably just need to correct it.

Mail page>>options>>mail options>>Accounts (from the list on the left)>>then click on "Yahoo Mail".(middle of page under accounts)
You will see a small link under the from line name, that says---change "reply to" setting.
Click that link and erase everything showing on that line----AND leave it blank----then click "save changes" at the top of the page.
..........................
By leaving it blank, you are instructing Yahoo to send ALL replies to your current account address . It's only "necessary" to put an address there if you want replies going to a different address.

If you delete an email, will the recipient not be able to see it anymore?

No, unfortunately the person on the receiving end of an email from your deleted account will be able to see the email IF it was sent successfully. Reason behind that is simply because the email would already be on the recipient's server and once it makes it that far it's basically out of your hands and in whomever's inbox. The only thing deleting your email account will do in your case would be that the receiptient will NOT be able to reply to your email because your email address wouldn't exist anymore for a reply to be received.**if you're trying to figure out some way to get out of an embarrassing or accidentally sent email, you can always say your "account was hacked" (#1 excuse for everyone's email and social media account fails) **

People send commercial SMSs / mails from addresses where you cannot reply back. Though it is understandable but lately many of them are misusing this facility by sending unclear and anxiety provoking messages. How to deal with this nuisance?

Thank you Mr Rajesh for A2A.In such cases when you cannot actually do anything, one of the few options left is you ignore such emails or messages.Another alternative I am aware of is, I think there is an option to block such emails. You may try that. This unbearable scenario happens when emails and messages are received from unreplyable sources. But when such messages are received from people, then you can ask them to stop such things as soon as possible. But preferably I suggest ignorance is a convenient option but you can always opt for any other option.Extremely sorry for the late reply (GUILTY)Hope this answer helps you.Thank you for reading and sorry again.
