Philosophy Vs Clinique

Philosophy or Clinique?

Clinique makes some really great moisturizers (: I love their Moisture Surge products. They make your skin nice and smooth :D Here's the link-

I know the price is kind of high, but it's well worth it :D It will make your skin smooth, soft, and moisturized (but not oily) in no time!
As for your oily skin, I'd recommend using one of Clinique's acne washes. Even if you don't have pimples now, all that oil might cause buildup and lead to break-outs. Clinique Acne Solutions Clearing Moisturizer is awesome! It's oil-free, and when you use it on your T-zone, it will dry up all that excess oil. Here's the link-

Use that once daily on your t-zone, while using the moisturizer I recommend on the rest of your face. [: I hope I helped!

Philosophy vs clinique?

I have dry skin.i used to have normal skin.i am using cerave hydating wash and don't like it.i used cetaphil and didn't like it.i have gone to numerous dermatits and none of them helped so I stopped gone.price isn't a concern.

Philosophy vs. Clinique?!?

Patience is the key. With anything that treats acne and breakouts the skin often gets worse before it gets better. Let me explain why. Most acne treatments are going to reveal what's underneath the top layers of skin, not just what's at the surface, so in the long run its getting rid of the whole problem, not just what you can see. Minimum, you need to stick with one routine for six weeks to know if it's truly effective. It takes at least 28-30 days for cell turnover to complete a cycle, and it takes longer as we age or if our skin isn't as healthy as it should be. The Clinique acne system itself is not only treating the acne, but helping to exfoliate dead skin cells, and crontol oil so in the future the two combined can't clog your pores. The system is also fighting p. acne bacteria, which is usually the source of continual breakouts. Clinique's acne system has calming ingredients in it, as well, so your skin isn't as itchy as with other treatments. However, the itch can be somewhat normal, it usually means there is a breakdown in the moisture barrier and you need some additional, OIL FREE, hydration. I know it's hard to be patient with skin issues, but you've already bought the product, and honestly they are working the way the are supposed to. If you go to a dermatologist, more than likely, they will give you a topical cream that takes at least 6 weeks, and will probably break you out just as much, or an oral medication if you have severe cystic acne that takes just as long. If you have severe, cystic acne (large painful bumps well below the surface of the skin), then you should see a derm., because nothing over the counter will help. However, if your experiencing just pimples and blackheads Clinique's system will work for you, but you have to be patient. Even a dermatologist will tell you to give something at least 6 weeks. Hang in there, don't waste money buying more when you've got something that will work, just give it time.

Philosophy vs. Clinique?

I use a lot of Philosophy. I love the Hope in A Jar, my skin feels so soft and refined. I like the Purity face wash, it doesn't make my skin feel dry and tight like some face cleansers. I used the Microdelivery Face Wash twice a week, and I honestly think it's not that great, it's average at best.

Clinique or Philosophy Moisturizer?

Clinique, thats what i use for my skin and it works really well, but everybodys skin is different.

First of all try both and see which one works for you, if theyre really expensive, ask the shop to give you a sample for you to try and see which one will work best. :)

Wich acne system is better ? Philosophy, Murad, or clinique ?

I have heard great things about Clinique, and my friend who has acne problems herself really loves Clinique. She always says that it's really and she loves it. I haven't heard about the other two so I suggest Clinique. I've used Clinique samples myself and they are pretty good. My skin is kind of like yours but it's not really dry by my cheeks.I only get a few pimples at a time too but it really stands out especially if you don't have acne all over.... I just use a cleanser, I'm currently using Nu Skin but I always liked Clean and Clear and then I use toner (l'oreal) and then I use Neutrogena moisturizer and it helped my skin a lot. I think it's just really important to get a good moisturizer that works well for your skin. Go with clinique though, it's a good brand. Good Luck Hun!

Which moisturizer is best? (Clinique Vs. Philosophy)?

I have used both, but I still use Clinique Dramatically Different - Lotion in the winter, Gel in the summer.
Philosophy is much more expensive and some people have beef with the smell (I love it. When I have used it my husband would ask me what that great smell is! It is a very clean smell). However, it is very soft, more like a mousse consistency. You have to be very careful that you do not apply too much, as too much can leave an oily feeling on your skin. Yet, it hydrates effectively and yes, it does give a nice rosy glow.
If you are happy with Clinique, than stay with Clinique. But I do understand the desire to try something new. I would do what another person suggested and see about getting a sample from Sephora, etc.
My opinion is: Clinique is cheaper and more accesible. Plus you love it. Philosophy is more expensive and not as accessible as Clinique. You may not like the smell and it may leave you feeling oily.
Get a sample, try it. Then decide.

Clinique or Philosophy or Proactive? Help my skin!!?

I am a proactive user of a couple years ... and i really am unhappy with the product and want to try something new----- which product do you suggest? I have frequent breakouts, large poors, blackheads on my nose, and dark circles under my eyes(just getting all the probs out in the open) Any help you can give me will be really appreciated-- i need something new so I'm leaning towards clinique or philosophy--- although i am not sure either contains benezol peroxide or syllic acid and i thought they were needed for acne to clear?

thanks!

Clinique Exfoliating Scrub vs. Philosophy Microdelivery Exfoliating Wash?

I've used the Clinique Exfoliating Scrub (I think it's the 7-Day Scrub?) and the Philosophy Microdelivery Peel, but not the wash. But, I can tell you that the Clinique scrub is very good, I'm always happy with it, and I've tried a lot of exfoliants. You can't go wrong with it. The Philosophy peel (though not actually a peel) is also very good, but a bit more harsh on skin. I can't use it as frequently as the Clinique, but my skin does look awesome when I do.
The difference is that the Clinique seems to make pores smaller, help with oil and overall smoothness. The Philosophy peel makes you very radiant, but for me, at least, it didn't do much for pores.
The Philosophy wash has two 5-star reviews on Skinstore.com and one 1-star review, in which she said her skin was bright red and irritated from it. Just a heads up, if you have sensitive skin.
Because Sephora sells both lines, I strongly suggest buying whichever you choose from there, so you can return it and exchange it for the other if it doesn't meet your expectations. They have a good return policy.

Best moisturizer/face cream? philosophy? kiehls? clinique?

I recommend products from BeautiControl. They have many different great products, you should at least check them out. They dont sell them in stores, you would have to find a sales person near you. Truly you wont regret buying their products, and no I am not a salesperson for this company, I dont have time for that. The sales person can most likely give you samples if you want to try them out first. Oh and I would recommend going to one of their free spas, that's where they let you try and help pick the right products for you, they do this by actually doing test on your skin. Its great and lots of fun, take some friends. Good Luck
