Question about PS4 Warranty?
Last year for Christmas, my grandma and grandpa bought me a PS4. They bought launch day, but was only opened and turned on December 25th (Christmas Day). Would warranty have started launch day or Christmas Day? I'm wondering because its really slow and keeps freezing.

I have a 1 year warranty plan that is about to expire this November for the ps4, if I tell the people from where I bought the ps4 that the ps4 isn't functioning well, would it be possible to get a white ps4 or do I get the color for which I payed for? Also, do I need to turn in the dualshock 4 too when I turn in the ps4 back to the store?

I lost the receipt but the representatives told me that the purchase date appears on my console and that i should be fine. I talked to literally 5 representatives, and they gave me the same answer, that i should be fine with only the serial number. I already sent the replacement box without the receipt. Will my console still be replaced?
Unplugged ps4 question?
So earlier today the lights went off and i had my ps4 on while charging my controller. Im kind of worried because im not sure if it will damage my ps4, However my warranty berly ran out yesterday. My question is... Will it damage my ps4 hardrive or save data in this case?

So I got a ps4 less than 2 weeks ago, and the controller it came with had both the r2 & r1 stuck. I was able to fix the r2, but I can't do anything with the r1. Also, it's not that it slowly comes up when you push it, it's that it won't come up at all. Also, how long would it take for it to come back?

Will GameStop still take my PS4 even though the warranty sticker is pealing off by itself?
If you are referring to the seal sticker that indicates the system has not been opened or tampered with in the answer is no. Not if the sticker has peeled off to the point where it can longer guarantee is the system casing has never been opened. It cannot be taken in, not even as defective. Now, hypothetically, someone may take it in anyway because they've been poorly trained and don't know any better but they're not allowed to.If your question is referring to the serial number sticker ( which on a PlayStation 4 would likely be difficult to remove) then it most likely can still be taken in as long as it's still partially attached to the system. Depending on the discretion of the employee doing the trade it might be taken in as defective, however. If the serial number is not physically attached to the system it cannot be taken in unless it's a Nintendo handheld, and at that it would have to be taken in as defective.
