Help with job Interview questions?

It is hard because i don't know how old you are.
I am going to assume you're 17 because you have never had a job before, but you are probably old enough to drive.

TIPS FORM A MANAGER THAT DOES A LOT OF INTERVIEWING>>>>
Be confident. - even if you don't know the answer, a good personality goes a long way.
Speak up - The person interviewing you is assessing your ability to hold a conversation
Showcase your personality - Even if you have no experience, a good personality and a willingness to learn will take you far.

ANSWERS TO YOUR QUESTIONS>>>>>>>
Why do you want to work here?
I love books and love helping people find what they want!

Why should we hire you?
I am willing to work hard and learn as much as possible. Plus, I have no work experience, but that just means that i don't have any bad habits!

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Hopefully in a work environment that i truly love **insert your field of choice here**,

What is your greatest weakness?
I don't know when to say "No". Everyone needs to have days where they can get things done and relax and get peace of mind, but i am one of those people that will pick up extra shifts and work until am exhausted, which really isn't always the best thing for me health-wise.

Tell me about a time you were able to satisfy an upset customer?
I don't have any experience with that, but there was a time I had to deal with an unhappy classmate/sibling and we had to come to a compromise!... **tell story**

DO YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS FOR ME?
Yes, when are you hoping to make your decision on who you will be hiring?
or
What sort of hours should I expect to work?

HOPE THIS HELPED!

Interview questions help?

Cant answer them for you though can help you in what they are looking for from the answers.

ANSWER:
1. They are looking for a person that is proactive in identifying ways that you will add value to the company. If you have had experience in a store or business then think of examples where you raised points with management and these were applied and resulted in money being made......
2. Looking for people that listen to customers (empathy is good) and then solved the problem in a way that improved the position of the company. this can be achieved by asking yourself what is the hardest thing you did to make a customer happy without compromising the company
3.Looking for LEADERSHIP. Lead by example, show initiative and always encourage team work with a goal that meets the companies goals.

Master these then you have the battle of the interview undercontrol.

Good Luck and let us know how you go

Do you Have Any Questions? Interview Question?

You can ask things like: what is the pay schedule, will you need to fill out a timesheet or punch a timeclock, .......

I need help with my job interview?

I am moving to a better area, so naturally I need a job closer to my new home. I applied at a clothing store called Cato. They said they needed a manager and did I want that job. I went in for an interview with the manager,(there was a sign on the door that said full time position inquire within), I was there for 2 hours talking with the manager and taking a couple of test. Then she said she needed me to come in for another interview, only this time with the district retail manager.(when I got there the sign for help wanted was down) I think that interview went well, she told me during the end that she was impressed with my attitude and that she was crabby that day and I cheered her up.( she also said I am tough as nails) So now they want me to come in Monday and speak with the vice president. She warned me that the vice president is very professional and very strict. That I need to act, speak and dress professionally.

Interview Help?

There are many generic questions that interviews ask. Some examples are:

Tell me a little about yourself?
Tell a little about your self, but also how your qualifications make you a good candidate for the job.

What are some of your strengths?
Talk about some of your strengths (example:great attendance) and how they would be relevant to the position you are applying for

What are some of your weaknesses?
Make your weakness a strength an example would be perfectionism. "I'm a perfectionist, so at times it takes me a little longer to do some things." Try and flip your weakness into a strength.

What can you bring to this company?
Give a few good examples why your qualifications, and your personality makes you a good fit for this company.

They interviewer may also ask you questions such as problems you may face on the job. Answer those the best you can with the information you know about the company.

Good Luck, I hope you get the job.

Macy's beauty advisor job interview questions please help :)?

Hello everyone !
I have a job interview at Macy's as a beauty advisor/ on call next week and i have a couple of questions to ask. Hopefully some of you have previously worked at Macy's as a beauty advisor or have some knowledge. I would like to know if it's going to be a group interview ? after the first interview what comes next ? a second interview and would i have to bring a model in to prove my fabulous makeup skills ?
Pretty much any insight would be greatly appreciated. I already know that i should wear all black sleek looking makeup and hair, because that's what Macy's uniform is , and have the most outstanding customer service i've encountered and that's why i'm very interested in being part of the Macy's family. I have a tendedncy to get nervous and stutter lmfao and i'm going to try very hard not to do this, i just dislike group interviews and i know that this is part of life ! we gotta do stuff we don't like right ?
I also want to bring my cosmetology license and my makeup portfolio to show the HR that i'm very serious about getting job :)
thank you for answering my questions

Job Interviews: How would you answer this interview question: Tell me about a time you helped someone?

It doesn't have to be work related but if it is, so much the better. Someone didn't know how to use a tool or an app to an assigned project and you helped them learn it and in doing so, learned something new yourself. Or you helped an elderly neighbor reinforce his front porch and repaint it. You walked the dogs for a friend when he was laid up with a bad back. You paid for the order of the person behind you in the drive-thru at the coffee shop. You helped Amon with her three kids on a flight and kept them busy and amused. There are a million examples you could use; pull one from your own life and describe it fully.  You'll do fine. Good luck.
