Why do i have to pay for xbox live?
i own an xbox and i have xbox live gold and it is not worth at all what you pay for it. you have to pay for everything on xbox live, you pay 50 bucks a year and on top of that you have to pay for all the games all the add-ons, netflix ,hulu and they are porbably going to charge for youtube soon. why do they make me pay for this?

xbox live had put my account on hold because i did'nt have enough money on my credit card but the thing is i only had enough money for 1 month, and the other months i was gonna use game card but they keep charging me over and over, without stopping my account the first time they realized it wasn't no money on it is there a way i can file a argument against this case?(i had xbox live for 2 years now and never had a problem)
Why do Xbox players have to pay for Xbox Live still?
As an avid Xbox user, I have a good reason. Xbox Live is a very good service which connects millions of people across the world, and doing that with minimal lag is impressive (granted, its not as good as it could be). Maintenance if the servers are only part of it, hiring the people to run everything and fix bugs and crashes. It may sound inexpensive, but when you're running a network that spans much of the globe, it's going to cost a pretty penny. This goes with why Xbox Live users say for the service. We realize the money goes into providing a very fun and connective service which we can enjoy at any time. Yes, some part of it goes to Microsoft as profits, what company dosen’t do that? They're still a business and needs to make money, not just consistently break even. So all in all, while it's not a perfect service (what us?) Xbox Live's costs may be pricy (perhaps a bit much so at times) but it is very worth it and very understandable, which is why gamers continue to pay the cost.

It basically generates a MasterCard number, so you can use your checking account like an online credit card. I have used it for several things online, it works great. You still pay right out of your checking account, but who you pay thinks they are receiving payment from MasterCard. And the virtual card can be set up as one time only card, or as a multi-use card. And yes this is a legit way to pay. PayPal and MasterCard came up with this program, so it is legit.

Well I have a fee of $20.00 from the past 2 months. And microsoft couldn't charge me cause my credit card got cancelled & i want to cancel my membership anyway, so will microsoft like follow me until that fee is payed or what can happen? It is a visa gold check card my bank is wells fargo. So I went to add a new credit card option (because I can't find add a debit card option) and after I fill everything out it says "Cannot authorize the selected payment option. I think 10 should be the absolute minimum age for playing on xbox Live. These 8-, 9-, and-10 year old children in my family became friends with perverts and violent felons. The language was so atrocious, there really was no reason to separate them from the older kids at daycare anymore.So, no. Oh, yeah… hell no!
