How do I sell something on the internet?

There are several ways. First you may want to try E-Bay, Amazon, Yahoo auction sites. There are several others. If you are a newbie try e-Bay as a seller. You can register and within 2 days you are on. You may even check if someone else on e-bay sells product like yours. You also can go to Google search and look for any sites selling the product as yours.

There are also flea market sites that sell on the Internet. It is a hit or a miss.

If you have a portfolio of products, you may want to start with Internet marketing. Assuming the product to be a niche product and people are interested you may want to identify what exactly are people looking for in a product like yours. This entails some research and it is doable.

The Internet marketing deals with product ads and getting traffic to view the product. This is essential. You may have a great product and no traffic it will not help.

How can I post something on the internet that everyone can read?

What is this mysterious website that "everyone" is reading... but that I do not know of? Oh, come on... you know the site... it's the site you expect to post on.

Wait... you don't know of any site? Well, how can you get "everyone" to read what you post?

Look.

There are a metric ton of news sites out there that allow people to make comments on news stories without having to sign up for anything. But, then "everyone" won't be reading it, will they? Only people interested in that particular news story will be exposed to it, and then only the people interested in that particular news story that bother reading the comments will be exposed to it.

You want to post a comment AND a request. That is interesting. You don't indicate what you want to comment on, and you don't indicate what you want to request. That desire for privacy and secrecy indicates that what you want to say might not be appreciated.

The problem you face is that the people who put up the sites where others can make public posts, are in the end responsible for the content of the sites. This means that they have to have a way to keep their sites clean and free of content that can get them in trouble. Thus the need to sign up for a majority of them, just to be able to post something. This is the part that is interesting though. You don't want to have to sign up for anything (like you had to sign up for Yahoo Answers) just to comment and request what you want... which means at some level you don't want to be held accountable for what you say and ask for.

There are a few sites out there..

How can i buy something on the internet?!?!?

That whole knocking on the door scenario depends on the mail carrier you choose.

In general, buying items online is easy. You put certain items in your shopping cart if there is one, or you just simply select what you want to buy. After you pay with your credit card (this is unavoidable) - here's the tricky part. You have to make sure the website you are buying stuff from is genuine and not a scam (be careful about this). You don't want you credit card information out in the open you know; that's just dangerous. Most online consumers prefer to pay with PAYPAL (www.paypal.com) (<-- highly recommended) because it's been deemed trusted and you only give your information once (to the site) and it has to be verified. Using paypal lets you purchase items online without giving your information to strangers.

The shipping address is where you want your package to be shipped and the billing adress is sometimes used to match the credit card to the owner or to simply send the credit card bill. (the buyer can be different from the receiver of the item).

People don't come knocking on your door unless its DHL or something that requires signing for proof that the package got to the intended receipient. Often times, it just appears on your doorstep like regular mail.

Hope that Helped :D

I saw something bad on the internet help!?

I am 14 and this happened to me when I was 11. Except I am a girl who saw a naked women, not on that same exact website, but something like it, I didn't' try to click on it, but yeah. I was really disturbed at first, but after awhile I realized it was just a silly mistake and it wasn't my fault.
I told my mom about it, to feel less guilty, and she agreed it was just a mistake. If you feel really guilty and you want someone to talk to about it, tell your mom, dad or someone you trust.
And think of it this way, at least you weren't 11 when you saw that. :s
I hope I helped!

What is something people do on the internet that would be weird in person?

Trying to argument/debate with strangers about social or political issues. How often whilst out and about in the real world do you overhear someone saying something that you disagree with only for you to attempt to start a debate with them…The conversation would go something like this.A (to friend): I think this and that about so and so…B: Well I completely disagree because of such and such.A: Sorry I wasn’t talking to you.B: I know, but I heard what you were saying and because of that I want to take up your time in order to make myself feel validated.A’s friend: C’mon, lets get away from this weirdo.Meanwhile on the internet.A (to nobody in particular): I think this and that about so and so…B: Well I completely disagree because of such and such.A: Actually, because of … and … you are wrong and I am right.B: Yes but what about …And the debate is continued for many hours.

Something's Wrong with My Internet Browser(s)?

I Use Mozilla Firefox and every time I type something into the search it brings up a whole bunch of websites trying to sell stuff and when it does bring up the right thing and I click on it, it redirects to a different page... trying to sell stuff... so I don't know what it is and it also happens on my Internet Explorer and MSN Explorer... AND this is the 3rd Computer in which I have had this same problem. I am also running Avanquest Fix-It Utilities and I'm not exactly sure if there's somethiing on that, that will fix it...

...So please if there's anyone who can tell me what's wrong and what I need to do It would be much appreciated!!!

How do you post things on the internet?

this is a basic HTML question. If you have the URL to the image, the code to post pictures up is:

Why is it when I search for something to buy on the internet, I am inundated with ads from that company?

Both Facebook and Google are stalkers!Because of the pixels that they ask advertisers to install on their websites, they are everywhere. Even when you think you’re on someones’ website, you’re still being stalked by the two giants. They track whichever movement you make on the web and see what you’re watching the most, what your preferences are etc.The advertising you see online is determined what kind of actions you previously took. If you watched a video on Facebook about basketball, you’re very likely to see content and advertising about it.If you went to someone’s website and went back to Facebook, you’re very likely to see their advertising, as they might retarget you (pixels, remember?).Exactly the same happens with Google.Whatever you search and see on the websites, Google remembers that and if advertisers decide to retarget you (which they’re very likely to do), you’ll see their advertising all over the place. They Know More About You Than You DoBecause of the data, they have collected, online platforms now exactly when you wake up when you are most likely to watch a video when you’re most likely to buy etc.
