How long does it take to do ballistics test on a crime weapon?
Depending how well the investigating facility is staffed and equipped, a ballistics test and matching, if one is possible, should take anywhere between a few minutes and a few hours, but, with the volume of crime and the backlog of work that many facilities must cope with, results could take anywhere from days to even months to obtain. Ballistics,as well as most other forensics seen on TV, on CSI and all its' clones is usually fairy-tales. CSI Miami is about the worst offender. Not only do crime lab personnel NOT arrest people and carry out most investigative procedures, they DON"T ride around in $70,000 Hummers, either! ! ! Most CSI vehicles are non-descript step-vans or trucks. In fact, most CSI personnel are not even police, but civilian employees, AND DON'T EVEN CARRY GUNS! ! ! !

As a result of the Cuban Missile Crisis the US furthered its tensions with Cuba. In the beginning Fidel Castro had been a capitalist, but when Washington failed to send him financial aid he went to the Russians, who were glad to prop up his government. As a result a "No Interference" agreement was passed stating that the US would no longer interfere in Cuban Affairs. Also, when Kruschev backed down it was a huge blow to his popularity back home, and Russia suffered. Also, the embargo on American good was placed in effect, to try and make it difficult for Cubans to trade and travel and visa versa with the US.

I would have considered Chinas military quality > quantity during the 1990s, but this is 2012, they do have the worlds 2nd largest military budget, they do have J-10s, J-11s etc. They do have the worlds first and only Anti-Ship-Ballistic-Missile which is capable of destroying the most advanced carrier in only 1 hit since it's projectory speed outmatches any anti-missile shield. They also are one of only 3 countries who has sent a man into space, and one of only 3 countries who has test and flown a prototype of a stealth aircraft. They also have modern tanks, modern attack helicopters etc. So what makes you think that China has low quality weaponry? They already make their own missiles, tanks, radars etc. I agree with you placing France and UK at #7 and #8 because I know many idiots would place them at like #4 and #5 but what they forget is that UK and France only have small military SAS and only have about 100 fighter jets each...So in an actual full out war, do they really think a team of 20 SAS can take down another countries team of 500,000+ units. I would also place Germany at #9 and Turkey at #10. Japan would come in at #11, although they lack the skills to conduct an offensive operation due to their ban on having a military since ww2 so their main operations are only defensive. But apart from that, you summed up everything pretty well.

The anti-ballistic missiles have no way of detecting, though, which of the 10 rockets are carrying nuclear warheads. What are the chances that Country B will be hit by at least one nuclear missile? P(at least hit by 1 nuclear missile) = 1 - P(not hit) = 1 - 6C6*4C1/10C7 = 29/30 I don't understand why we have 6C6*4C1/10C7. I don't even understand the situation. Is it this: only those 6 missiles with nuclear warheads from A can hit B, if 6 of the 7 anti-ballistic missiles hit those missiles with nuclear warheads from A, then B is not hit? Why is the denominator 10C7? 10 is the number of missiles A has. 7 is the number of anti-ballistic missiles B has.
