Reasons For Declined Dog Applications

Is it true that an embassy can deny a visa application without telling the reason?

You don't mention a country so I'm going to use US embassy as an example for my answer.Yes, the only thing the embassy is obligated to do is to convey their official decision. If, for whatever reason, they choose to reject an application, they are not obligated to provide a justification. You mention in your details:If they don't like how we look, they can deny our visa application and we never know the real reason for thisThis statement is misleading.‘Looks' are not just facial features, body built, and skin color.‘Looks’ are much, much more. When a visa officer interviews someone, they have 2–3 minutes tight windows to judge the applicant and make an informed decision. The overall appearance or ‘the look’ of the applicant is a big tool that can help them make the right call. For example, the choice of clothes — Ill fitting, unironed, wrinkly clothes don't give a good first impression.Personal hygiene — uncut nails, uncombed hair, general shabby appearance doesn't seem welcoming or professional.Demeanor/body language — too nervous, uninterested, confused, trying too hard to impress etc are useful pointers. All of this can be categorized under ‘looks'.The looks will help differentiate between genuine candidates and trolls. It aids in judging if the applicant is in fact what their documents project them to be.Appearance helps scrutiny. It allows officers to weed out the misfits. All I can say is you need not worry. Embassy or officers have no personal interest in judging your superficial looks. They are not trying to date you. They are merely trying their best to give the nod to the right candidates. If you're the right candidate, if your paper work speaks the same story you speak during the interview, and if you're able to convince the visa officer of your credibility, you have nothing to worry about.Good luck!

How to apply prepusol to dog?

You should not have declined the demonstration. I've never heard of prepusol. I'm assuming that it's an antiseptic that can be applied vaginally. On most dogs this is a two person job. One to control the front part of the body and the head, the other to manage the tail and application of the product. If you are having issues, have you vet demonstrate the technique for you.

What happens if I get kicked out of my apartment for violating the lease terms?

What happens if I get kicked out of my apartment for violating the rules? Does that let me out of the lease? I screwed up but I'm trying to take some advice and stand up to my parents. They constantly cross the line and they won't stop until I put a stop to it which is going to be today! It's either let them run my life until I'm 50 years old or tell them I don't appreciate anything they've done for me and they need to get out, stay out and never come back.

They know I'm trying to start my own little business and they know I have a dog, but they didn't like the place I chose for myself so they found an apartment for me, put the lease in front of me and yelled at me until I signed it to make them stop. They gave me the keys, kept a set for themselves so they can come in whenever they want. paid the deposit and first months rent and to top it off they told me I'm not allowed to give anyone else a key. I'm expected to pay them back when I can but we never discussed it before they went and did it. I haven't moved in yet.

This place does not allow pets and I can't do business from the apartment. They told me I need to get rid of my dog and get my business idea out of my head. They are mad because I did not ask their permission to get a dog, so I'm 24 years old, have my own place but yet they win again. My mom went and got drapes for the windows without even asking what I thought.

I'm just so steamed right now I can't even think.

Why do Nigerian applicants always get denied visas?

Nigerians often get denied US visas especially because, consular officers feel like they are geniuses at profiling people and hence tend to reject people with legitimate reasons a US Visa.I have once been invited to the US alongside my fiancee and we were both denied US visas after answering basically one question and I couldn't help but laugh at the insanity of such exercise. How could you decide that someone was unfit to visit your country after answering just one question? While strolling away from the consular office I realised the very same thing had happened to roughly everyone I met.I decided to ask a couple of friends for their experience and it was the same story. However, I can't be too quick to blame the consular officers. Nigerians are well known to once in a while extend their stay without reason or decide to never return after gaining entrance to the USA.If you're a Nigerian and you're reading this, I have a question for you. I know the country can be said to be hard but looking at the difference in taxation as well as the fact that you can get gunned down for no sane reason at any point in time in the US, why on Earth would you want to leave Nigeria for such a country? Will I love to visit the US? Yes, but not on my money!NB: I love Americans and I'm in no way saying they are a useless nation. I have a lot of close friends in the US, in fact a good number of my friends at this point are all in the US and we get along really well, I just feel sorry for them a lot when I think about what the government offers compared to the tax they have to pay each year.

How long does the adoption process at humane societies take?

As you said, it varies. But there are some general similarities. The places that are animal control facilities are easiest to adopt from, and tend to have a waiting period only long enough to get the pet spayed/neutered. Very few AC places spay or neuter ahead of time due to their high euthanization rate. But all places are generally understaffed. Some places allow you to fill out the adoption form online, do that if you can. Once you fill out the form you need to provide ID (you have to be of legal age). If you rent, bring the piece of your lease stating you can have pets. Make sure any other pets in the household have seen a vet and are up to date on vaccines. This is usually a requirement so seeing that it is done prior to going in really speeds up the process. The worst time to go in is the weekend as that is when everyone comes there. Things are easier if you can go during the week - check the hours. Once the application is filled out and the information is verified, you will be approved to adopt. Rarely can you take a cat home on the same day. They make you come back to weed out the impulse adopters. So assuming your pets if you have them are all current at the vet, the whole process can take from a day to a week - depending if the pet you choose has already been spayed/neutered or not. And yes, you can be declined. You need to be 18 or over, own your house or have permission to have a pet. They expect you to have a job so you can care for the cat. And they require that cats be indoors, and never declawed. If you have history of animal abuse on record you will obviously be declined. If you already have a ton of animals you will be declined. Shelters also won't adopt kittens to a household with kids under 6. That's about it for most of them though. Many to most places have an adoption agreement on line - start checking them out.

Dog rescue fence restrictions, why no invisible fence?

My husband and I were just turned down from a dog rescue organization because we currenlty have invisible fence. We LOVE our fence, and we live very secluded in the country where we are not surrounded by neighbors or animals other than our own. We would also keep the dog inside during the majority of the time. We have had a beagle in the fence previously with no problem whatsoever.

We were told by the rescue that it does not keep other animals/people OUT. What the heck does that have to do with anything given where we live? If someone/something climbs the ridge we live upon and stumbles into the immediate vicinity of the house (as where our fence is set, about a 1/4 acre of a total of over 25), then I'm not too worried about what the dog may or may not do...

It just seems so defeating to me that rescues who are overrun with dogs and want to find them a good home seem to find sooo many reasons to deny good animal people from adopting!

Discouraged over adopting from rescues?

My significant other and I have been on the search to adopt a dog. However, after months of looking and finding a few perfect dogs (we think are perfect for our lifestyle) I find myself being so discouraged from the whole adoption process. Our first experience was so shocking that I was reluctant to apply for another dog at a different agency. We were basically denied from adopting because we "looked too young." My boyfriend is 25 and I am turning 25 in Feb. We both have good jobs and a lovely house with a big yard. We both had dogs in the past and know certain breeds like the back of our hand and to be turned away because we appear too young... it's so disheartening. Our second attempt was to adopt a puppy from a well-known rescue. The application process is long and the adoption fee is no drop in the bucket. We had an unofficial interview on the phone and was offered a chance to meet the puppies. However, I have not heard from the organization since - despite sending an e-mail. One of the requirements is that we have another dog for the puppy. My brother owns another dog and he stays at our house about 80% of the time but we do not own him. According to the requirements, that might hinder us from adopting a dog from the organization despite having qualified for everything else. I feel so discouraged I don't know what to do. My significant other wants to get in contact with the rescue one more time before the weekend rolls around, but I have a feeling we'll be rejected based on that one thing.

Has any one else ever experienced such thing? What did you do in that situation?
