Paypal itself (the site) is secure IF and ONLY IF, the browser show https:// before the paypal part. there are many fake paypal sites out there hosted by spammers and scammers who try to trick people to give up their personal details and - most importants to them - their credit card details .... !!!I have had a major site selling advertising via Paypal. As payment medium it is great, but integration into a website is not alway that easy.I have seen websites sold on Flippa #1 for Buying and Selling Websites, Domains, and Apps - where your paypal email address is clearly shown inside the pages html coding. VERY POOR DESIGN !!!The paypal code - including the email address - should always be cloaked, so bots and spammers can't steal and abuse your email address.The transfer itself - well that's pretty good explained on paypal and on this site, so I won't go into all that.But as a webmaster/designer I suggest you protect the coding to avoid abuse.Depending on your platform there are probably several ways to do that.Receiving money can be done even without a paypal account. Someone wants to send you money and all they need is your email address. You then receive an email from Paypal with further instructions. NOTE: Some countries have restrictions on Paypal transactions or forbid them completely. If you have a Paypal account, you can request a withdrawal to your bankaccount. This is usually a very safe way to receive money from them.

I think there is a fee when you receive payment on paypal. I thought that sending and receiving money on paypal was free. I charged someone of $2.00 shipping and handling, and I only received $1.64. Is there really a fee for this? What about if I send money to someone I know who needs cash, like overseas? Gift, payment I owe...etc... So if I owe someone $100, I must send out like $103 for the fee? or they don't charge on something like that?

You need to attach your bank account and PAN card to your paypal account and get the bank account confirmed. Once you do that you can receive the money to your PayPal account . Every day the funds in your PayPal account will automatically be transferred to bank account because of the RBI guidelines.

I recently made a bank account for myself with checking, savings etc. and on top of that, I have something called an "Access 360" card from Fifth Third Bank. The Access 360 card is connected to my PayPal because of the "connect a card" option, BUT, when I go to link my actual bank account to my PayPal, it says it wasn t able to do so. Other countries are allowed to both receive and send money via PayPal. Check your country in the list of forbidden countries.If your country is not in a black list, you can still receive money on PayPal without a bank account. However, if you will want to witrhdraw that money from your PP account, you will definitely need to link your bank account.

I joined globaltestmarket which is a paying online survey place. (Yeah, I know a lot of you think online surveys are a total scam but I did some research and found out that not aaall of them are!) The annoying thing about this place is you have to get your money through something like PayPal. I always hear people talking about how you need a credit card to use this place. I don’t have a credit card nor would I want to add one to this site. I just want to give PayPal my address so the money can be sent to me. Is this possible?
