Recentl Do Published

I have recently published a book and want to get it reviewed, can anyone tell me about bloggers/reviewers to whom I can send for review?

You can simplify your search by typing this question on Quora. What are the best book review blogs in India? To my knowledge, if your book is published through self-published channels then you need to approach people for the review process; they may charge you as well. However the best thing is to tell your friends or readers to post reviews about on websites like Goodreads and Online Shopping: Shop Online for Mobiles, Books, Watches, Shoes and More. However, if you still insist you can send a request for book review on this site www.keveinbooksnreviews.in this is a good website as it covers many Indian writers. Rest is your choice, and also send a book to a reviewer, don’t expect them to buy your book.

How do you get a book published you recently wrote? I wrote a mob fiction book.

Depends on if you’re going the self-publishing or traditional route. The gist is:Self-publishing: Get the work edited, figure out what system you’re going to use for self-publishing (I use Amazon Createspace and KDP). Get it out there!Traditional publisher: prepare to pitch and get your work in front of publishers! Reach out to other authors who have done it before for advice, especially on outreach and deal/contract negotiations. Be very careful for scammy publishers.

What are some good, recently published books on neuromarketing?

Ever since I stumbled upon Martin Lindstrom’s book Buyology, I became obsessed with ‘’why people buy’’-and understanding consumers and their(ir)rational behavior. I recommend to start with Neuromarketing for dummies, and then try with Brainfluence by Roger Dooley. Beside books, I would suggest to have a look at different articles published by NMSBA and even try MOOC Introduction to Consumer Neuroscience by Thomas Z. Romsoy. (Coursera). After that, just make a wishlist on Book depository (free postage) and browse for every neuromarketing book and read through reviews.Hope it helps.

How do I get a novel published?

okay, any time you are sending out work you should canvass first. write a letter to the agents you intend on sending your work to, with a brief synopsis. state in the letter that you intend on sending your work to multiple agents, this is a courtesy, if you send to multiple agents and don't let them know there will be a rare couple that take offence.

ignore the guy who said not to send it into an agent, J.K. Rowling sent The Philosophers Stone into an agent first, it was picked up by the agent and look at her now. She has recommended to any writer that they try to get an agent first.
If you get into an agent's then your work is already validated, any publishers will automatically take it more seriously because it has already passed a professional. Also no matter what kind of negotiations you're in with the publisher you're agent will be the person who argues and haggles and you will be able to breeze in and still have a good relationship with the publisher.

the best thing to do to get information is to get a copy of the writers and artists yearbook from your local library. (That's if you're in England, if not I'm sure there will be an equivelent where you are.) this holds not only info on literary agents and publishers, but also holds info on all of the practical things you should know being a writer.

good luck.

Do I have the permission to share my recently published IEEE paper in ResearchGate, will it be violation of copy rights submitted to IEEE?

All of this is in your author agreement. Read your author agreement. For example, here’s the paragraph in the author agreement for my recently published article.[Publisher] will have the exclusive right to first publish and distribute your Work in either print and/or electronic form. But this exclusive right will only exist up until initial publication and for 90 days following initial publication. All other rights will be regarded as non-exclusive. This means that 90 days after publication you may post a copy of the electronic version on your own Web site, authorize others to include print or electronic copies of your Work in their collections, produce new (derivative) Works based on this Work, or resell the Work to another publisher. All of the details for your specific circumstances is in your author agreement, which you signed as a legal contract, with IEEE.I suggest that you do not sign any further contracts without clearly understanding what you are agreeing to.

How can I publicize a recently published research paper?

I would like to add two more options to good advice by Prof. Fisher and Prof. Bates (though, presenting at conferences IMHO is not always a feasible option due to financial or time constraints). At least, this is the direction that I'm going in my early academic career, so, in this case, I can say that I practice what I preach.Firstly, you should have a [what I call] personal professional website, which presents various information about you as professional, such as research interests and experience, CV/resume, projects, software, research papers (all or subset) and more. I'm talking about your own website here, not your organizational or departmental one, due to workforce mobility and overall independence benefit. For people, who, like me, are currently unaffiliated, a personal professional website appears to be the main personal branding tool (I also use ResearchGate and other recommended social sites, but many people in academia still don't use them, so, by relying on them only, one would leave out a lot of potential interactions and connections). With that in mind, in order to extend potential reach of your research, some search engine optimization (SEO) efforts (keywords selection, etc.) might be beneficial for your website's visibility. However, this is optional and might not be needed, especially, if your research and other materials are in a relatively narrow domain/field. It is trivial to check how your website ranks by search engines and decide whether you need to spend time and efforts on SEO.Secondly (and related to the above), after deploying all relevant information of potential interest to your website, you should use social networks, like Twitter, or one or more newsletters to inform interested people about your news, recent papers and other updates.

How to know where a book was published?

If you don't own it, then I'm assuming you checked it out from the library. Look at the library catalog record for the book & you should see something like this.

Author Lewis, C. S. (Clive Staples), 1898-1963.
Title The magician's nephew / C.S. Lewis ; illustrated by Pauline Baynes.
Publication info. New York : HarperCollins, 1994.

This gives you the publication information for the particular edition.

How hard is it to get a book published?

It's difficult. Many writers--like me--spend years trying to obtain what so many had been able to achieve with greater ease in the past.

These days, the foundation of publishing has changed. Most publishers have either consolidated themselves, merged, or simply faded away because of everchanging business challenges and other ventures.

Most publishers are only accepting agented submissions. Some are accepting only those writers or authors who have a proven track record, and many others, are simply not taking unsolicited manuscript submissions anymore.

Agents are the ones you have to go through now--if you want to be accepted.

Submission guidelines are constantly changing from one moment to the next. So the next time you buy a writer's guide, you may be in for a shock at what the industry is accepting *now*--as opposed to six months ago.

Don't delude yourself into believing that you can get in on the first try. Rarely do any writers do.

Many suffer the stigma of being buried under 100s of rejections--while others are just unpublishable by the mainstream for a variety of reasons.

I've been there and done that. I'm no longer closer than I was before 7 years ago when I had a representation.

But only recently, did I just hang up my submissions and queries hat. Not because the fact that postal rates have tripled and quadrupled since 2000. But because I no longer had the energy to keep this up.

I had to call it a day and move onto greener pastures.
