Which phones are better: iPhone or Samsung Galaxy?

It completely depends on you. I’m going to break this down into different sections for you:This answer is specific to me, people will hahe different opinions, I respect that, please respect mine, it’s a free country Hardware:Samsung is light years ahead of Apple when it comes to their hardwares. Samsung phones rip iPhones apart when it comes to hardware specs, the RAM, the megapixels on your camera, the storage, some of the now so common features like face recognition and fingerprint scanner were introduced by Samsung long before Apple followed suit.Winner: SamsungSoftware:What’s the use of a hardware with the best specs without the tools to run it. Sorry Samsung, this is where you loose out. iOS, hands down is the winner by light years. It’s easy to use, complemented by its ability to hang a ‘little less’ ( iOS 11 is the worst update I’ve seen) than Android makes it MY favourite.Winner: AppleIt’s a battle between the hardware and software now. It totally depends on what you want.Apple phones cost too much, but if you look at the flipside of it, It is rumoured that iOS 12 will also support iPhone 5s, a 5 year old phone. Let’s say, the rumours are false, it did get the iOS 11 update, it still being 4 year old phone. Android stops supporting your phone after 18 months of the release. If you are someone who buys phones for a long run, in terms of hardware, you’ll be behind, but atleast Apple offers you the recent software.Secondly, let’s talk penetration of the new updates, Apple reported that over 80% of IPhones were running the latest iOS updates compared to less than 10% of Android phones which were updated to its latest version. The reason behind it being that different manufacturers add in their different skins onto the OS, which delays the upgrades. If you are running the Vanila version of Android, like on the Pixel or Nexus, you’d be the first in line, however if you have a phone belonging to another manufacturer, good luck with that.iOS on the other hand has no manufacturers in between, hence if the updates are released let’s say on the 17th, you’re most likely to get it that day itself.I used to be an Samsung fan, but when I switched over to Apple, I find it difficult to get back to Samsung, Apple boasts a customer retention of over 90%. You got to give them credit for that.Again, this answer is based on my views, I have nothing against Android or for iOS, it’s just my personal experience. Cheers!

Why do I keep getting SIGN-IN FAILED. SERVER PW HAS CHANGED. ENTER NEW PW on my cell phone?

I had the same issue since my Samsung Galaxy S3 did a software upgrade about a week ago. Here's what finally worked for me after deleting stored passwords, trying to put the password in under incoming mail settings, and all the other nonsense that people said to try. Go on the computer and change your Yahoo password (just do something easy like a capital letter). Then go to Playstore and uninstall all Yahoo apps (mail, messenger, plug-in). Do a full shut down on your phone, not a restart, for a few minutes. Turn your phone on and when it is done rebooting, go back to the playstore and reinstall your Yahoo apps (all 3). Then go into your mail settings and go to the incoming mail settings and put in your new password (on your phone, not the computer). Good luck! This worked for me

Does Android have a recycle bin or are deleted files permanently deleted?

Thanks for the question. As an Android user, you might have met this situation before, alike many others. You've deleted some important files on your Android phone by accident. When you want to retrieve them, you find that you can't.Unfortunately, there is no recycle bin on Android phones. The main reason probably is the limited storage of an Android phone. Unlike a computer, an Android phone usually has merely 32 GB - 256 GB storage, which is too small to hold a recycle bin. If there is a trash bin, Android storage will be soon eaten up by unnecessary files. Many of you might be asking, if there is no recycle bin on Android devices, where do the deleted files go? In fact, when you delete a file on the Android phone, it will not be completely deleted. It is still stored in the phone's internal memory, and the space it used will be marked as readable. So when a file space is deleted, new data is able to use its space at any time, and then, overwrite the deleted data. But don’t get worried. Although Android phones do not provide a recycle bin for users, many applications have their own trash folders (as detailed below) which allow users to recover deleted data on the applications. That's also another reason why there is no need to have a recycle bin for Android.Android Email Recycle Bin: All email clients, including Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook have their own trash folder to hold deleted emails temporarily.Recycle Bins in File Explorer: File Explorer applications like Dropbox, ES File Explorer contain their own recycle bin.Trash on Photos App: Photos app like Google Photos have a built-in trash folder. And if you have enabled Samsung Cloud on a Samsung phone, you can also find deleted photos on Samsung Cloud's trash folder.Recycle Bin for Android APK.In addition, there are many third party data recovery apps. You can download and install them as well, if you feel so.But all those may not be needed further, because as on date, Google Drive is the best Android software which is pre-installed in most of the cell phones from 6.0 version and onward, where you can place your deleted file, photos, data, audio, video and restore them, as and when required. Let’s have a look on it’s amazing features. You can put a file in trash.Empty your trash.Empty your entire trash.Recover a file from trash. For further details as to how Google Drive works, here is a link (https://support.google.com/drive/answer/2375102?co...Platform%3DAndroid&hl...).Good luck.

How can I fix my Samsung S5 battery life?

The only ways to reduce battery drain that actually work -1 Get a new battery. Start fresh. Old batteries won’t hold a charge as good after 2–3 years. Even if your phone shows 100%, it could drain in 6 hours of heavy use or 30 minutes of idle time. Age does matter in batteries.2 Dim the lights. The screen is taking 80% of your battery. Lowering back-light (and lowering the blue lights) is proven to extend your battery life. 50% background light and 80% won’t have much difference on your eyes, but it will on your phone. If you have a RGB setting, set the blue tones lower, even if the screen will look a bit more towards red or brown. Your battery will love you for it, and your eyes will not be as strained after a couple hours of staring at your screen.3 App killers- Apps running in background mean more battery drain. My personal favourite is ES Task Killer. Free, fast, reliable. ‘Nuff said.4 Junk cleanup. Empty storage, means faster speed, and less energy spent on opening and closing files and apps. Make your phone work smarter, not harder . (only the phone’s storage applies here. SD cards run the same weather they’re 10% full or 100% full).I’m sure there are many more, some work, some don’t. These are the easy ones that work wonders in the long term. You can get 2–3 extra hours of use out of your phone but feel free to try others too.
