Refridgerating A Smoothie Overnight

How do you store left over frozen smoothie? Fridge or Freezer?

I just made an Acai mixed berry smoothie from an Archer Farms kit and I have a bunch left over. I would like to have it for tomorrow.
It has ice in it. If I freeze it the rest of the ingredients will freeze but if I fridge it the ice will melt. What do you do???

Can you refrigerate chocolate milkshake overnight?

Depends on the temperature of your fridge, if it’s the ideal temperature, (35 degrees Fahrenheit) it will still melt, and if you stick it in the freezer at the ideal temperature (0° F) it will freeze, you would have to put your fridge/freezer at a dangerous temperature, so it is not a great idea

How can I preserve smoothies over night?

Your best bet is to freeze your smoothies (in a freezer-safe container) overnight, then just let it thaw a bit in the morning. I would potentially stir the fish oil into your smoothie after thawing, rather than freezing with everything else (as you shouldn't be blending fish oil on high speed anyway!).

How long can a Bolthouse Farms smoothie stay unrefrigerated, approximately?

I bought a C-Boost smoothie and wanted to bring it to school tomorrow. It would remain enclosed in a backpack for 40 minutes (bus ride), and it is cold outside. Would it still be okay after that? I'm not used to fruit supplements.

I left some Yogurt out overnight, is it still good?

It is prolly still good however I wouldnt eat it. Leaving milk products unrefridgerated is risky. I live in Phoenix, AZ where the temp. has been average 115 degrees this week. I wouldnt leave it outside cause things spoil much faster when the temp. is hot.

Is unopened orange juice, left out overnight, still good?

Orange juice is high in citric acid which dials back most bacterial growth so it is likely just fine once chilled back to the cool drinking temperature most of us prefer in our morning glass. An overnight sit on the counter isn’t going to create instant trouble if it was purchased well before the Best By Date, but I would not let that carton or jar linger in the refrigerator much more than a couple of days beyond a night of forgetfulness.Leaving it at room temperature has shortened its “fresh” lifespan by days. How many days would depend on the variables of how warm was the kitchen and the hours before discovery. Find a reason to finish up the carton quickly if the flavor is still clear and not soured.

Is there any danger in refrigerating yogurt mixed with citrus juice overnight?

The reaction between milk and acids curdles milk in a way similar to what happens when milk goes "off", but don't mix up cause and effect. There's nothing wrong with the curdling; it's actually essential to yogurt, cheese, and other acidified milk products. Bad bacteria can produce the same effects, but the effect doesn't always come from that cause. In the case of yogurt, it's already pretty acidic through the action of beneficial bacteria. Adding orange juice may increase the acidity a bit, but it's already about as curdled as it's going to get. Even if the acidity does further denature the proteins it's not going to be harmful. At worst, it gets a bit lumpy; the curdling is not a sign of the presence of bad bacteria. If anything, the already low pH prevents new bacteria from getting a foothold. It might separate a bit overnight, but stirring it up should fix the problem just before serving.

I didn't refrigerate my 'naked' juice. can i still drink it?

No! They are extremely perishable.

Does V8 juice have to be refrigerated?

I prefer to drink V8/tomato juice at room temperature. I know the label says "refrigerate after opening", but half of the products in America say that. Can anyone explain WHY it has to be refrigerated? They are stored in grocery stores on shelves for months, why does opening it suddenly change refrigeration requirement?
