Who is the DC comic’s ‘Reign’?

She’s a biological weapon created by Zor-El, along the other Worldkillers. Zor-El regretted their creation, though. She first appeared in Supergirl vol. 6 #5, March 2012. She’s different from the Supergirl TV show version, both in appearence (she has less humanoid features in the comics) and identity (unconnected to any Earth people). Also, the TV version wasn’t creted by Zor-El.

Is the show reign appropriate for a 14 yr old?

Well it does have sex scenes in it and some of them can be graphic
There isn't nudity where you can see their private parts, but it can be graphic with how it's acted out.
I guess if she or(If you are asking for yourself) are mature enough to handle that then it might be okay.

What book is Reign on the cw based on?

Reign, the new romantic drama about Mary Queen of Scots, premiered Oct. 17 to much fanfare — and apparently some confusion about the show’s historical accuracy. But that’s where HollywoodLife.com can help! We recently paid a visit the show’s Toronto set, where the cast gave us the scoop on just how true-to-life this show is going to be.

Why does GOT show start from King Robert's reign and nothing shown much about mad king and his son Rhaegar?

The real world reason is that the book starts there, so an adaptation will likely start there as well. The reason why the book started there is because these are the events that set in motion the story George wanted to tell. Between Roberts rebellion and the start of book 1 is 15 years, 24 in the show. This would be a too big timeskip, but who knows, maybe we'll get a Roberts Rebellion spinoff. It also looks like we're getting tourney of Harrenhal next Season, so we'll see.

Will the DC animated tv shows return?

They are working on a new show for Cartoon Network called Justice League Action. The series would revolve around Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and a rotating roster of other characters, as they battle different villains every week. I know it sounds different from the classic DC animated shows of the past, but it will have all the same voice actors (Kevin Conroy as Batman, Mark Hamill as Joker, etc.) and it is being produced by one of the same men who produced all of the old DC cartoons (And I do mean old: all the way from Super Friends to Batman Beyond!)

What is your favorite historical fiction book or TV show?

You’re Stepping on my Cloak and Dagger by Roger Hall … the true adventures of a member of the OSS during WWII. I think I still have the remains of the book somewhere. I read it until it fell apart and why no one has ever turned it into a movie I have no idea. Seven Pillars of Wisdom by TE Lawrence. Oh, wait, fiction … The Drawing of the Dark, Arthurian based and totally delightful, Tim Powers (I’m on my fourth copy, digital this time, because the other three fell apart on me). Tim Powers writes very amazing historical intertwined with fantastical stuff. Lord of the Rings (you know, that history before Lemuria, Mu, Atlantis where there were other races that are now … gone. Although,if it’s only 30,000 years BCE … ) An Infamous Army, Georgette Heyer: Waterloo and it’s aftermath in a generational romance … well researched. Sorry, Ihaven’t got only one (theme from Highlander wanders through my mind), and I add things all the time, although not generally the ones everyone else is loving.

Romance thriller tv shows to watch?

- BBC's Sherlock
I'll admit, the romance takes a side-step to the mystery; but it is an awesome show. Incredibly compelling, and easy to become addicted too. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b018ttws
- Vampire Diaries (CW)
Romance, thriller, mystery, horror. I'm obsessed. Gorgeous cast and for being 5 seasons in it still has a wicked plot.
http://www.cwtv.com/shows/the-vampire-diaries/
- Reign (CW)
A historical love-triangle with tons of suspense, and some... darker elements. Love, love, love this show.
http://www.cwtv.com/shows/reign/
- True Blood (HBO)
I have HEARD this show is extremely good, with romance, and thrills. But it is really sexual.
http://www.hbo.com/true-blood#/
- Dracula (NBC)
Great spin-off on the original novel, has a really intriguing plot with Dracula and lots of mystery, with a love triangle between Dracula/Harker/Mina. you can watch the entire season for free on their site (:

Others to Check Out (that I haven't really watched) --
- Revenge
- Bones
- Teen Wolf
- Sex and the City
- Game of Thrones (HBO, pretty sexual just like True Blood)

Which series is thought to portray the reign of King Alfred more accurately, Vikings or The Last Kingdom?

As I have written before in other answers, The Last Kingdom by far.The Last Kingdom is based on books praised for their accuracy. Vikings were semi-historical at first but has basically been pure fantasy since the start of the fourth season. The historical inaccuracies in Vikings is too many to list while at least the books that The Last Kingdom are based on have very few inaccuracies. The TV-show simplifies a bit and remove some things but is still way more accurate.
