Running An Fps Arma 2 On My Computer

Arma 3 computer. Will it run really fast and good fps?

So I am considering buying a gaming computer but I need to save some money for a couple months. I want to play dayz mainly :).
Here are the computer specs:
CybertronPC 5150 Escape Gaming PC
-Windows 7
-AMD FX 4100 3.60GHz Quad-Core
-AMD Radeon HD6670 1GB Video Card
- 8GB DDR3 SDRAM
-Hard Drive: 500GB (7200 RPM)
-Optical Drive: 22X DVD±RW Dual-Layer Super-Multi Drive
-In-Win MANA 134 Gaming Mid-Tower Case with 400 Watt Power Supply

Upgrade my Computer for ARMA 2?

ARGH! If I see one more person say "get a 1 GB video card".... That's like saying - get a 4 GB computer, as if there was no difference between a Celeron and a Core i7. Video cards come with different graphic processing units of vastly different powers.

Your main problem is your minimal video card. A G210 is just barely better than integrated graphics for playing games - it's more of a home theater display card. I'm surprised you're getting anything playable on it.

To give you a good recommendation, I'd need to know what type of case you have (especially if it's slimline or small form factor) and what size power supply you have.

For that game, you'd ideally drop in a video card in the $125 range - A Radeon HD 5750 or Geforce GTS 450 or better. I don't know if you'd need a power supply upgrade in addition.

Can this computer run Arma 3 with a high performance?

I’ve been playing Arma 3 for some time and can tell you: it’s the most CPU intensive game out there. How intensive depends on the amount of AI you’re placing in it (you can place as many AI in it as you’d like). There are countless questions on Quora that ask if an i5 is enough for gaming. Almost everyone answers: no problem but most people are not familiar with Arma 3.An i3 is not enough IMO, an i5 is OK but an i7 is preferred in Arma 3The last time I ran Arma 3 I was using an i7-4770k and even that was not really enough (I used a GTX 780 but don’t expect a GTX 970 to be that much of an advantage) for real smooth gameplay and I did not max out viewing distance for example (never do that in Arma 3 unless you’re using a supercomputer). The frame rates regularly dropped to around 25 or so.Again: it all depends on the amount of AI being used. If you only play online without AI, an i3 may be enough.

Can my computer run Dayz Standalone?

I feel sorry if cyril's troll answer made you happy. No, it's not possible to optimally run DayZ Standalone on your PC, it's not even possible to run Arma 2: DayZ Mod on your PC.

You need AT LEAST Intel i3 processor and AT LEAST dedicated Graphics Card with 800 Mhz engine clock. And even with those specs game will rarely go over 30 fps. DayZ Standalone demands a really powerful hardware.

Here's an easy way to see the gaming line. If you don't have at least 4 Cores processor, 4GB of RAM, and a proper dedicated graphics card then don't even hope to play any actually good looking gaming like DayZ, Battlefield, Crysis, Far Cry 3, Bioshock Infinite. If you have an Intel or AMD integrated graphics card then it's automatically a no-no.

Sorry to disappoint, but even a PC or a Laptop is a gaming machine and you must invest into it if you wish to play good games on it.

What is a budget gaming PC that can run ARMA 3 at around 60 fps on the highest graphics settings?

I ran arma 3 on a ryzen 1600, gtx 1070 and 16gb of ram, in 1080p at max settings and got well over 60fps, in 2560x1440p i got 60fps at max settings.with my new 2700X cpu, i can run arma 3 at medium to low settings in 4K at 60fps.2700x (300$)1070 ( i payed 420)2x16gb ram (team force 2x8gb 3000mhz ddr4 is 150$ on newegg)x470 motherboard ( 130)40$ in cooling fans, a 30$ cpu cooler, an 80$ case with too much cringy rgb later and.dont forget the SSD you will need for optimum results a SSD that houses your OS and large open world games like ARMA 3 and pubg for example. a HDD for pretty much everything else. this will help you get the best results.

How much money should I have to buy a computer to play games like Arma 3 and Insurgency?

Insurgency runs on a potatoe.Just make sure your computer has some kind of GPU in it. I could even run it okay (30fps) on my i3–6100 without GPU.Arma 3 is a different beast though. You’d need at least a GTX1050 for it.When you build your PC yourself, you could get one for as low as 500$ though (Pentium G4560 + GTX1050ti + 8GB RAM).

Can I run arma 3 on highest settings with 20-30+ fps?

It'd be around there yes, but you should turn off AA and vert sync and you'll get phenomenal fps.

Why do people like playing Arma 3 on their PCs at 10fps?

I’m not talking about ArmA 3 in particular. There are many games out there with 20 year old graphics that are loved by many people. The beauty of a game lies in the idea and gameplay, not video graphics.Take a look at Minecraft. A BF4 or COD player might come along to the website and say: “Is this supposed to be a game?”. They might proceed to download the demo, and then get addicted so much that they will forget about the “beautifully optimized” COD or BF4.ArmA 3 is one of my favourite games, and I don’t care about the poorly optimized engine. I get so carried away during gameplay that I forget about it. I’m sure its the same with many people who play ArmA 3.

Would this PC run ARMA 2 : DayZ? on Med-High Settings at 50-60 FPS?
