Should i feel self-conscious about my hairy arms?
Yes, I have had a few good friends shave their arms. Just do it - it's not a big deal. Especially if you're self conscious, it will make you feel better.

I'm a girl (16) and my arms have been hairy my whole life. It's horrible and i wanted to wear a sleeveless shirt tm because it's supposed to be warm, but i'm nervous. I mean i wore tank tops last year and the year before, idk why im scared, should i be scared? If you see a girl with hairy arms are u really that grossed out? Help :x Also i can't shave or wax them, my parents wont let me
I am really self conscious about my hairy arms!?
My prom is this friday and I am really self conscious about my arms because they are hairy. I have asked people in the past what I should do and they told me to shave them, so that is what I did, but it just made them worse. I have recently tried this hair lightener but it didn't work very well as it only worked on some of the hairs which made the darker ones stick out even more. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I could try before my prom. It would really help. Thanks

I'm a girl and I have VERY HAIRY ARMS!!! Help!?
My arms are hairier than guys I know. They're even hairier than my music teacher and he's like a gorilla. I'm a girl and I'm 15. I get really self conscious about it. How can I reduce the amount of hair that grows? I am NOT going to shave, wax, bleach or get any kind of surgery!

i have a very hairy back and chest (starting to appear on my upper arms and shoulders) and because of this i lack a lot of self confidence. the few times i have taken my top off in public, i have instantly heard remarks from both males and females, and it seems everyone is disgusted by it. even some of the few girls that i have hooked up with have left or quickly changed their attitude when i take my top off. i am only 21 and it has severely affected the last 5 or so years of my life. i cant afford laser surgery (i have had two treatments, but now i am broke because its $400 a pop just for the back) and just dont feel at all attractive. i have never had a gf, and just cant get past this way of thinking. any ideas to combat this?

Kay, so I'm a Latina. Cuban/Chilean/Spanish/Polish. Yeah, I'm really mixed. Anyways, my whole family on both sides are naturally very hair people. Of course I had to inherit hots of arm hair. I have a natural slight tan. I've noticed guys tend to look at my arms (girls too, but still. not worrying about hem really!) and my guy friend who im really close to and sort of have a thing for always puts his arm against mine to compare the arm hair. I've always been really self-conscious about my arm hairs. I feel like an ape. hah. So guys, do you really care whether a girl has hairy arms or not? And girls, any tips? Is it worth it to wax them even though its a part of me?

When I was young I shaved my arms because I didn't want any hair on them. What I didn't realize is that the stubby hair that grew back looked worse, never did that again. I still remember the hair growing back and stuck straight up all over my arms, in the sun it looked ridiculous! LOL! I remember people asking me - "did you shave your ARMS?" and I was so embarrassed.

Ok so I shave my legs and they don't get like prickly the hair just grows back in a way lol like if you slide your hand up my leg it won't hurt it'll feel like dry flaky skin I guess. Lol anyway, I'm a VERY hairy girl, I wax my mustache, I pluck my eyebrows. My arms are soooo hairy like this one kid said "your arms are like the floor of a barber shop" harsh right? Anyway, my friend shaves her arms and I really want to shave mine. Like the hairs are so long and thick..
