Why does everyone hate 50 cent so much?
I'm not going to get mad at anyone who likes him cuz you're entitled to your own opinion. But I liked him when he was doin' music for the hood. "I must be hear for a real reason cuz he got hit like I got hit but he ain't f***in' breathin'". It was lines like that that kept me listening to Get Rich Or Die Tryin'. But now I feel he's sold out to fame and he bases his career on "shock value". He bases his career on dissing people to try to get publicity, and it'd be one thing if he had a point when dissing these people but he doesn't. I mean, Cam'ron...okay. Game...okay. Kanye...why? AZ...why? Nas...why? Why diss them if they did nothing to you. And how many times has he lost battles that he started? Jadakiss, Jay-z, Game, the list goes on. As for selling out to fame, he went from talking about the hood to being 100% commercial! He went from telling stories about himself from living in the hood of NY to talking about all his money. Personally I'd rather hear about the struggles you faced on your way to fame. All he talks about is how much money he's got(all artists have it), how many ho's he's got(that comes with fame also), what kind of car he's driving(who does that impress?), and metaphorical lines about his "male organs"(I would use a D word to describe it but it would just get stared out) I mean Candy Shop, Amusement Park, Magic Stick...as a man I'm not going to listen to a man talk about his "thing".
