Should Brock Lesnar Become The Next Special Attraction And Start A Winning Streak At Wrestlemania

Why the Undertaker's wrestlemania streak was broken?

The decision to end The Undertaker's streak was made by only one person - "Vince McMahon". Days before Wrestlemania 30, Undertaker seemed to be in a bad shape and speculation was that WrestleMania 30 could turn out to be one of his last matches. Vince McMahon was of the opinion that this was the right time to break the streak and he felt that there was no one in the roster other than Brock Lesnar worthy of doing it. So he made the call to end the streak just days before the match. Undertaker, being loyal to the company agreed to do so. In my opinion, breaking Taker's streak was the worst decision ever in WWE history. The Undertaker's streak has been the main attraction of WrestleMania for 15-20 years. The streak  was the sole reason for many fans to watch WrestleMania. I mean they could have just ended Taker's career by letting him remain unbeaten at WrestleMania. Even if the streak was to be ended, Brock was not the right man to do so. No doubt, he is  a great wrestler, but he is still a part-time wrestler in WWE. Triple H, Shawn Michaels or Kane(Taker's storyline brother) were the worthy ones. However, Vince's call is always final and there's nothing fans can do about it. It still hurts to see the 1 in "22-1" streak.

WS: Do you think Undertaker should have retired at Wrestlemania 28?

Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Undertaker fan and I don't have a huge problem with him wrestling for as long as he sees fit. It's his decision and I respect that. However in my opinion Undertaker retiring at Wrestlemania 28 would have made a lot of sense both storyline-wise and legacy-wise.

Undertaker retiring after the "End of an Era" match would have made a lot of sense for a few reasons. I'll list them...

- It was a spectacular match and it was also billed as an End of an Era. It would have been a fitting way for Undertaker to retire and ride off into the sunset with a nice and even 20-0 record at Wrestlemania. Retire with a bang if you will, and not a whimper. It would have been a great last memory for Undertaker's career.

- This match had three years of build-up behind it. THREE FRICKEN YEARS. Taker had just beaten HBK twice in a row at Mania, and beaten Triple H at the Mania after that as well. This match had a real sense of finality and closure to it. Especially when the three legends embraced at the top of the ramp. It was a touching moment, and it would have been even more emotional if we knew this was Taker's last match. In my opinion, Taker will never get a sendoff as good at his one.

- His matches from WM 29 onwards suffered a noticeable decline in quality. His match against Punk at WM 29 was decent. Not great, but still decent. His match against Brock Lesnar was horrible and his match against Bray Wyatt was just kinda "meh".

What do you think?

What do you think about Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship?

It's a simple predecided result which I can also predict here it is Brock Lesnar will still be the beast the conquerer the reigning, defending, undisputed Universal Champion. As per the earlier statement by Brock's advocate Paul Heyman if Brock Lesnar losses the title then he is gonna end his contact with wwe forever. But the money lover Mr Vince McMahon won't let this happen becoz it will be a big loss to the wwe as the GM of Monday night rae Kurt angle had stated in his statement earlier. The beast Brock Lesnar is the baddest dude on the planet which he has proved many times. He won the Universal Championship in IInd April 2017 by defeating the legend Goldberg and from that day till now number of Superstars like Braun stowman, sammoa Joe, kane…. have tried to take that title away from Brock Lesnar but the beast cleared everything which came in his path of being the longest reigning wwe universal champion.I have seen so many negative comments against Brock Lesnar everywhere and I just want to say them please don't comment like this just go on face to face with Brock Lesnar and then say anything what's in your mind then only you will come to know what type of beast Brock actually is.Until just wait for WrestleMania.

Why does Brock Lesnar not perform every match in WWE?

That's because of the contract he currently has with the WWE . According to Vincent Kennedy McMahon, Brock Lesnar is a great draw for any event and as he is still an MMA fighter so to make him happy and keep him in the company he was offered the stupidest contract of all time. I don't know the details about Brock's contact but he is paid 6 million a year for doing only big four shows namely summer slam, survivor series, royalrumble and WrestleMania. He does regularshows only if it is needed to build a feud or if it is a special show like tribute to the troops or MSG show or raw after WrestleMania etc. He is badass but that just doesn't justify the way he is treated. It's fine if the champ is not defending his title every week but since winning the title in 2017 WrestleMania he has defended it in only 6 matches and in survivor series last year he had a non title match against aj styles. That's it. WWE aren't realising it but they are just destroying the importance of universal title belt.

Why has The Undertaker won only 7 world titles in his 25 years in WWE compared to John Cena winning the title 15 times?

There are quite a few reasons to this situation that wouldn't make sense at first. For a major part of Undertaker's career, there was only one WWE title. During Cena's time, at least until they reunited the titles, there was a WWE title and a World Heavyweight title. Most PPVs had two main events and winning the title was a much easier thing to do. If we look at Cena's title record, he has 12 reigns as WWE champion and 3 reigns as the World Heavyweight champion. Undertaker had 3 reigns as the Heavyweight champion and 4 reigns as the WWE/WWF champion. It should also be noted that after 2010 Taker's appearance during WWE events was much less. On the contrary Cena had been a work horse. The second point starts where the first ended. Cena has worked not only during RAW and Smack Down, he has worked numerous house shows and dark matches and has been the standard bearer of the WWE in terms of work ethics. Although, nothing can be said against the Undertaker in regard to this (25 years tell you a lot), Cena just worked harder than any other main eventer. For the major part of Undertaker's prime, there were plenty of other main event stars ranging from Bret Hart to John Cena. Taker always had competition ahead of him in terms of the title. Cena had a much smoother raod. Thing would have been a lot different if Brock never went to NFL or MMA. Cena was the one guy holding things together for the WWE in terms of merchandise sales until CM Punk's rise in popularity.Undertaker's gimmick does not make as much merchandise sales as Cena does. Cena's ring attire is filled with stuff that sells - from his cap to his shoes. Cena brought in more revenue and for a business that depends on merchandise sales, these numbers matter and they have better business if he is the champ. The Undertaker we see these days is a much more civil and toned down version of what he used to be during attitude era. Another misfortune of the PG era if you ask me. There is only so little he can do with these restrictions and his age.Cena's merchandise sales are going down according to multiple sources. However, expect on them to rise up again once he is back in the ring permanently. Even when people chant 'Cena Sucks' WWE and Cena are both making a ton of money from that.Title numbers taken from The Undertaker and John Cena
