Front of thigh tattoo?
so im getting a tattoo in a few days anc i cant decide if i want it on my upper arm or front of thigh!! it's gonna be a little bigger than my hand... and i guess i have a kinda low pain tolerance, i don't really know, it never gets tested but i'd say i do. i just love how thigh pieces look but i'd also love it on my upper arm. how bad do thigh pieces hurt though?
Is a thigh tattoo more tolerable than a side?
So this will be my second tattoo. I have one on my back in between my shoulder blades. It hurt at parts, but I survived. I want another tattoo. I want it on my side, but that's one of the worst spots. So what about front of my thigh? (I have more meat on my thighs, because of my big butt - for lack of better words lol.)

I want to know the name of the area, or just what its called. I've noticed most tattoos there are swirls or spirals of the sort. Its on the front side of the body, on the thigh, and reachs above the pant line.

How much will this tattoo on my thigh cost?
I want to get it on my right thigh. It's going to be a mirror and some roses surrounding it, full color. I'm pretty thin(~110 lbs) so there isn't a ton of room to work with. The shop minimum is 50 dollars but it says for larger tattoos it can go up to 100 dollars. I live in a small town with about 25,000 people and the tattoo shop is kinda small and dumpy looking on the outside but it's got some really good reviews and it's the only tattoo shop in my town. Any idea of how much this will cost? I'm going Saturday to get it done but I want to know if I should choose another tattoo that I can afford. I've got about 300-350 dollars to work with. Will making it black and white make the tattoo cheaper? Or what if it's mainly black and white with a few hints of color in the shading? By the way, I live in the DFW area in Texas. I'd like it to be on the front of my thigh. I already asked this question but only got one response and I want to make sure before I go in. Thanks!!

I got my first tattoo yesterday on my right thigh & the pain is minimal. I'll equate the pain to the feeling of getting my eyebrows threaded. I'm even considering a second one. I was terrified of how much it might hurt but once he started I was telling my friends"I would have gotten a tat long time ago if I'd know that it didn't hurt." Go for it!!!
How much pain should i expect from my thigh tattoo?
I'm getting a tattoo in the next few weeks and I want to know what I should expect. Its gonna be rather big ( a butterfly with detailed wings landing on a tiger lily with a ray of light with words shining down on it) I haven't gotten one one in five years so I totally forgot.......also what should I buy for aftercare? I have the dial soap and a&d ointment but I need a lotion. Thanks for you help
