Should I Get One Of These Headphones

What pair of headphones should I get?

Well the sennheiser HD 449 has very good bass but for the genres you mention mainly dubstep it might not please you if you are a basshead , the HD 429 is a better choice , it has a phat bass ( big ooomph sound ). i would recommend the HD 280 pro but some review state the comfort is lacking for long use
and the more improved version of it is just a dollar under your budget
here : http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-380-Pro...

budget wise the sennheiser 202-II seems it will satisfy you ,take a look at this review

the ath-m50 are very good also for about $150 but remember its a studio monitor headphone so if you have a song thats poorly recorded it will reveal it .
all the best

Which one of these headphones are louder? I am trying to understand the specs.?

Specs to pay attention to:

Magnet Type: Neodymium is just the strongest type of common magnet. In simplistic terms, it's there to keep things still when all those vibrations are going through the hardware.

Driver Size: The bigger the driver, the lower the sound it can produce and vice versa for smaller = higher.

Frequency Response: Same basic purpose as the drivers, though this is the range of frequencies the hardware can produce. Most headphones run at 20 Hz - 20 kHZ. Most people can't hear above 64Hz- 23kHz, so it's almost pointless to worry about going that high.

Sensitivity: The best way to describe this is that it's how much sound can go through the speaker per milliwatt provided. Lower decibels use more energy to go louder. Of course, you'd go deaf if you listened to anything at more than 85dB/mW, so . . . .

Impedance: Bit hard to explain. I'll post a link in the Source box. Anything higher than 65 ohms should have a headphone amp. The higher the number, the less likely your headphones are to blow out from using professional sound equipment.

Power Handling Capacity: How much power you can put through the headphones without blowing the speakers.

How to hook up headphones to ps3?

I have done this for several friends and is very possible with about $5 worth of parts.

you will need:

1x dual RCA female to 3.5mm stereo female adapter

see the makeshift diagram below

PS3 male connects into 2xRCA female and combine to 1x 3.5mm female stereo headset jack to connect your male headset.

PS3 male....RCA female....stereo female...headset male

The link below will give you a visual as to the 2 female RCA connections, the only caveat is ALL
connections on the RCA to 3.5mm adapter you need must be female in order to connect your PS3 RCA and headset 3.5mm male connections.

I have one of these, but I found mine at a Car audio retailer $5 for the cable and the adapter, perfect for what you need.

Shure SRH550DJ Headphones Vs the Pioneer HDJ-500 Headphones?

I'm a DJ and also a music producer, which I've stated in my previous questions.
I'm looking into the Shure SRH550DJ headphones, but I wanted to know if I should get these, or the Pioneer HDJ-500's.
I'd like to know which one has better sound, and which one lasts longer.

Trouble breathing with headphones on, is this because of anxiety?

There's nothing wrong with being cautious about your health, but don't overstress yourself. I can get that way sometimes too, but then again I have had a lot of health issues. I'm not a big fan of headphones either...mainly because I like to be aware of my surroundings. Try turning the volume down on your headphones so you can still hear everything else that's going on. That might help. I don't think supressing feelings can cause a brain tumor. Have you talked to anyone about what you're feeling? Maybe instead of looking up diseases and symptoms you should try writing down what you're feeling (be truthful) and talk your doctor about them. Sometimes when you read something on the internet about certain diseases and you read the symptoms you can trick yourself into thinking you have those. I do that sometimes. Take care of yourself okay?
