Should I go by Vedic or Western astrology?
Whatever one fits you better. I will admit that celeberties in the Verdic Scorpio Sign seem to live up much more to traits in that sign: Verdic Scorpios: Martin Scoresse - has made some of the most violent films Ozzie Osbourne - "the prince of darkness" speaks for itself Borris Karloff - Played Frankenstein and was a horror movie star Johnathin Frid - The star vampire in the TV Series "Dark Shadows" Billy Idol - Many of his songs delt with sex, the occult, and drugs Danny Devito-"Throw momma from the train","batman","blood factory" I am a Scorpio in western and a Libra in Verdic with Mars & Mercury at 3 degrees Scorpio with a large concentration of planets in the 8th and 9th houses. So even though I am a Libra because of my birth chart I actually am really more of a Scorpio in Verdic astrology too. Death, the occult, gentlemen's clubs, violent films, horror movies, true crime stories and fantasizing about the way to commit the perfect murder tend to be the staple to my personality.
Verdic Astrology or Western Astrology?
I get this is prob a popular question but I'm confused on which one is more accurate. It's funny though because if you look at most of my nakshatra they represent the other sign vice versa in western or verdic. For example in western my moon is in pisces but in verdic astrology it is in aquarius, in purvabhadrapada ( which represents both aquarius and pisces by degrees) my dob is 01121989 at 143am nashville tn. Another example is my ascendant. It's libra rising ( verdic but scorpio rising in ( western) but in svati nakshatra that represents both libra and scorpio. Plz help me understand. Thank you,.
Is Western or Vedic Astrology more accurate?
Personally, I believe Vedic to be more accurate; at least for me it is. My husband is really in to Science and Astronomy and he explained to me why the fixed positions of the stars are more accurate than going by the seasons as Western does. I stuck with my Western chart for the longest time even though it doesn't fit me at all and it just frustrated me to no end but not now...My sidereal chart is all me; the houses and everything. It works and I'm sticking with it.

Vedic astrology is considered as more than 3000 year old (or Earlier) Throughout India and many eastern countries people believe in Vedic Astrology. Western astrology has included outer planets (Uranus, Neptune and Pluto) plus many asteroids. Which is better is a controversial subject. You can try both and see which one hives you better results/
Western astrology is wrong, but seems like Vedic isn't and it is correct all the time?
I know that Western astrology is hocus-pocus but the Indian (Vedic) isn't as it seems. People claim that it has great predictive power and that every prediction comes true. It even uses the sidereal zodiac that astronomy uses, so it represents the real "situation" on the sky, and not a false one like the tropical zodiac in Western astrology.
