Should I Sing This Song For My High School Graduation

High school graduation song?

The seniors in my high school concert choir sing a song at the graduation ceremony every year.

What should I wear to my friend's high school graduation?

I love the combination of a dark pair of dressier jeans (no fading), a sportcoat and some suede lace-ups. It's not overly dressy and gives off a young vibe but is still put together and mature. If you like to be a little on the flamboyant side, throw in a nice patterned pocket square and trade the sude lace-ups for a pair of dress boots.

What is a good Coldplay song for High School graduation?

I am graduating from HS, and I have a band that has been asked to play for graduation. I want to play a song with a lot of meaning, we will have a piano player, bass player, guitar player or two, and a few vocalists. We want a good Coldplay song with a lot of meaning, but if there are other songs that aren't Coldplay I'll take any suggestions! Thanks!

What song should I sing at my older sisters graduation party?

Mariah Carey-Through the Rain

Lyrics:

When you get caught in the rain with no where to run
When you're distraught and in pain without anyone
When you keep crying out to be saved
But nobody comes and you feel so far away
That you just can't find your way home
You can get there alone
It's okay, what you say is
I can make it through the rain
I can stand up once again on my own
And I know that I'm strong enough to mend
And every time I feel afraid I hold tighter to my faith
And I live one more day and I make it through the rain
And if you keep falling down don't you dare give in
You will arise safe and sound, so keep pressing on steadfastly
And you'll find what you need to prevail
What you say is

I can make it through the rain
I can stand up once again on my own
And I know that I'm strong enough to mend
And every time I feel afraid I hold tighter to my faith
And I live one more day and I make it through the rain

And when the rain blows, as shadows grow close don't be afraid
There's nothing you can't face
And should they tell you you'll never pull through
Don't hesitate, stand tall and say

I can make it through the rain
I can stand up once again on my own
And I know that I'm strong enough to mend
And every time I feel afraid I hold tighter to my faith
And I live one more day and I make it through the rain

I can make it through the rain
And I live once again
And I live one more day
And I can make it through the rain
(Yes you can)
You will make it through the rain

[What are some songs I could sing at my graduation ceremony]?

Some more traditional songs might be:

Graduation Day - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yMuvmYdbE...

In the Halls of Ivy - (From an old radio show of the same name) the only recording I found is the front minute of this one. (no more once talking starts.) - http://ia331313.us.archive.org/1/items/h...

Here is a link to my chorus singing a medley with Graduation Day and Halls of Ivy.

I found a number of links to sheet music of these, and they can easily be adapted for solo voice and are simple melodies that can be keyed higher for your vocal range.

Lyrics for Graduation Day:
There's a time a for joy
A time for tears
A time we'll treasure through the years
We'll remember always
Graduation day

At the senior prom
We danced 'til three
And there you gave your heart to me
We'll remember always
Graduation day

Though we leave in sorrow
All the joys we've known
We can face tomorrow
Knowing we'll never walk alone

When the ivy walls
Are far behind
No matter where our paths may wind

We'll remember always
Graduation day
We'll remember always
Graduation day

Lyrics for Halls of Ivy:
Oh, we love the halls of Ivy,
That surround us here today,
And we will not forget,
Though we be far, far away.
To the hallowed Halls of Ivy
Every voice will bid farewell,
And shimmer off in twilight,
Like the old vesper bell.
In the sacred Halls of Ivy,
Where we’ve lived and learned to know,
That through the years we’ll see you,
In the sweet afterglow
