Tv Show: River Monsters with Jeremy Wade?
Whenever I watch tv with my dad, he watches River Monsters with Jeremy Wade, he likes it... I want to know what kind of a fishing pole he uses because I want to get one for my dad. My dad loves fishing. I want make him happy and he can like Jeremy Wade.
Can you list a bunch of T.V shows like River Monsters?
So my dad loves fishing and watching fish. I got River Monsters and deep sea documentaries for him but River Monsters ended and it's sad when he goes home and just sits there to watch the news. We don't have cable so I just download or watch online. So I'm just wondering if anybody knows of other shows or movies like River Monsters or fish or animal documentaries. He doesn't like deadliest catch.
Show "River Monsters" Reality or acted?
Do you mean is it a reality show? No it isn't. Reality shows are a classification encompassing people in situations the producers create, and the interactions are what make the show. Do you mean is it scripted? Acted portrays a different meaning - that is hard to accurately a yes or no answer to. Of course scripted shows are acted, but even the news is acted. An anchorman is giving you a performance. Scripted would be a more appropriate adjective. River Monsters is what is called a documentary series. It documents Mr. Wade on his journeys. It is scripted. There are things completely planned to be said, that are said to the camera. I do not see much acting in the show, but as said above, Mr. Wade is acting the part of narrator at the very least. What we see if typical of a documentary, which shows us the documented truth. If you were implying a falsehood in the show by asking reality v. acted, then I must say no to that. Mr. Wade is a passionate professional. There are no animatronic giant killer fish being made at Universal and sent to the Amazon.
River monsters Jeremy Wade?
I've been watching the show lately, and I actually think it's very interesting. But, I was curious to why Jeremy isn't married? Did he dedicate his life to just fishing and not getting married or having children? Not sure, but he's 50 and still unmarried. Anyone know why?
