Since I Have Asperger

How do i ask girl out when i have aspergers?

I like the note idea. Whether you ask her in person or in a note, though, keep your message very simple. Say, for example, "I think you're really _____. Would you go out with me?" Fill in the blank with whatever it is you like about her. Do not comment on her physical attractiveness/her body, even if that's what you like about her, because it is potentially offensive.

Since you don't have much to say, I suggest you put your request for a date in a nice card. The card can make up for your lack of content, and a small gift like this makes you appear thoughtful to her. Get a female to help you pick out the card if you don't know what to buy.

Be sure that when you ask her out, you actually have an idea of what you would like to do if she says 'yes.' I don't know your ages or interests or where you live, but I would recommend a date where you have something to do, like coffee, a meal, a walk, or some other interest you both have in common.

You will have to make some small talk during your dates. Ask her simple questions about herself: "What is your favorite _____?" "What did you do today?" "What do you like most about _____?" "What are your interests or hobbies?" If she asks you these questions about yourself, be sure not to talk too much or in too great detail about your hobbies, or you are liable to bore her. Try not to talk for more than a couple minutes about yourself during your first couple dates. Talking too much about yourself is one of things people find most annoying, so be careful about this.

If you get nervous or you don't know what to say, you should tell her the truth. Tell her that you are very shy and sometimes you don't know what to say. Tell her that even if you are quiet, you are still glad she is there with you.

Can I join the Air Force if I have Asperger's?

No you are DQ you can not join any branch of the military if you have Aspergers. They don't give waivers anymore there looking for people without any problems or very little like just asthma. Because there is a limit on how many people they can recruit. But like me i was diagnosed with adhd and insomnia as a child but can function fine without medication. So i only need documentation that i can function without medication and im in. So if you are like me and can get Documentation you can join. I really don't know what aspergers is. But i also have low thyroid disease which just makes me gain weight and i don't need a waiver for that. Your best bet is to talk to a recruiter. They might say your DQ and if you ask for a waiver there going to say there is no waiver for it. Thts what they told me and i said "but i was only diagnosed as a child not an adult" and the recruiter told me to get documentation so i have to wait til November 4th. But also it will take you longer to enlist because they will really look into your medical history. So if you don't want to wait give up. But also my friend had the same problem as me and didn't tell them and got in. But if you're choosing a high clearance job then they'll find out and you will be dishonorably discharged. So if you wanna risk it and don't need medication you could do that. BUT I DON'T RECOMMEND THAT.

Do you think I could get out of jury duty since I have Asperger's syndrome?

I agree with most of the answers here (except anyone that would say or imply you are a retard) so I won't go over what they said again.

However, "I voted in the last big elections and I think that makes me eligible for jury duty if I'm not mistaken." is where you are wrong. If you were not old enough to vote in the 2008 election the concept of obtaining jury lists exclusively from the voting roles ended before you were born. That process has been ruled unconstitutional as it removes from the jury pool people that do not vote. Jury lists are now obtained from just about any contact you have with the government at the level of the court system. For example obtaining a drivers license, registering a vehicle, obtaining a business license, obtaining a professional license and owning property are all things that place you on the list.

I suspect that I have Asperger's Syndrome. What would be the pros and cons of getting officially diagnosed?

I strongly suspect that I have Asperger's Syndrome since I seem to have many of the associated characteristics, but I haven't actually talked to a psychologist about it. If I've got it, it hasn't stopped me from leading a successful life. I've got a terrific girlfriend who I love and a fairly high paying job that I enjoy. What would be the pros and cons of getting officially diagnosed?

Since I am 20, almost 21, have Asperger Syndrome, still single, never had a girlfriend, still a virgin, should?

I'm 23 and still a virgin. I didn't paying attention to guys until I left high school. Mostly because I was a nerd in high school (I still am actually) and had my head too far in the books. I'm a virgin because I choose to be, not because I didn't have a boyfriend in high school. Don't stress too much about. I'm epileptic, but epilepsy doesn't rule my life. I have better features in me that I can promote.
