Skyrim Ctd On Load Screen

MY SKYRIM WON'T STOP CTD-ING HELP?

I have had this problem quite a few times.

1) The larger your save file gets, the longer it takes to load, and the more often it will CTD as a result. More than once, I've had to start a fresh save because that particular one got too cumbersone.

2) Some mods are missing required ESBs or ESMs, or perhaps they are in the wrong order. Double-check those ones. Get a client like Nexus Mod Manager, since they're excellent at keeping track of what goes where.

3) Some mods are clashing. Even when some mods say they don't clash with others, they do. Using NMM, I'd say disable all your mods, then reenable them a group of 5 at a time until you can narrow down the guilty mods that are causing the CTD.

Why is Skyrim giving me an "infinite loading screen"?

Change the "0" to a "1" in both bEnableLogging=0 and bEnableTrace=0 under [Papyrus].

Start the game and then exit and read the log file and it will give you a clue why the game is in an infinite loop at a loading screen. The infinite loading screen is usually a mod conflict or may be a DLC did not properly install (there have been problems with the DLC on the Legendary edition).

You may also have a cell buffer full from the last time you played that didn't clear so Skyrim can't load. Did you end your last game normally or did it CTD or freeze or not end normally? Have you used a quick save as this can also cause the infinite loading screen.

It can also occur if your RAM is being used by background programs and services that start to run as Skyrim is loading and there is insufficient RAM for the game to load. Shut off as many programs and services that load when the computer starts and see if that helps.

Try deleting the skyrim.ini file under C:\Users\Owner\Documents\My Games\Skyrim\. Only the .ini file and I suggest making a copy of it and saving it somewhere and then deleting the one in the Skyrim file. Starting the game with the Launcher will create a new .ini that may fix the issue.

The worst that can happen is the last save corrupted your game because it had too much or conflicting information to save or it ran into a conflict. Unfortunately, this requires a complete uninstall, a cleaning of the registry and a reinstall to fix.

Skyrim CTD in Lost Knife Hideout?

Have you tried verifying the game cache through Steam? It does sometimes work for random crashing:

Skyrim random CTD and never ending load times?

You have the exact same PC as me :D
I was getting random CTDs too, I recommend checking if there are any mod conflicts first with BOSS GUI. Here's the download link: https://code.google.com/p/better-oblivio...
Make sure to delete save files that you don't use and don't play for very long time periods
After doing all this, I almost never had CTD's again

Why does Skyrim keep freezing up?

I’ve observed this problem on an Xbox belonging to a friend of mine.Skyrim does some weird memory management stuff on startup. It seems it doesn’t allocate enough RAM for a complex game save when it first starts. It will allocate more after it loads the game, but if there isn’t enough to load, it freezes. The solution I have discovered: Start a new game. Immediately save. Then, when you start Skyrim, load THAT save, then load your “real” save that you want to play. It loads the simpler save, allocates more memory, then is able to load the more complex saved game state without freezing.

Skyrim crashes when entering Hag's End.?

Personally, I used to get this error with multiple places on Skyrim whilst playing on the Xbox. I found the only real way to stop it is to just not go to that place, yet. So instead you'll need to go to a place you know works before going to Hag's End and in most cases it works. This can still be very buggy though and that's why I took my Xbox saves over to my PC version of Skyrim where I continue to play there.

How can I fix the bug in the quest "Regain The Pale" in Skyrim, the quest marker is not showing up, neither on the top of screen nor on the map and I cannot start all over again?

Thanks for the A2ASo Ive never encountered this bug before, but I did some reading up on it and this is what I found; The first suggestion is to go and complete the civil war questioned if you haven't already, specifically a quest tittled “Season Unending”. If you haven't done this and you proceed to try and finish this quest it will some what break your game, check to make sure you have done this quest before trying other options. If this doesn't work and you did complete the civil war quest, then you can try and closing the game (if you are on PC completely close steam and restart your computer) and maybe even your console. Reload your save and check for the marker. You can also try reloading an earlier save. Try to reload to a save point right before you received the quest and maybe even farther back if need be.Lastly you can try to skip the quest if you are on PC with console commands. This is not recommended as it is known to disable you being able to progress in the game, do this only if necessary.

Why isn't Skyrim launching? It works fine, but when I added mods it broke, and won't allow me to play. I open the game, shows me the BGS logo, then crashes. (Mod list is in the answer by Theo Noble)

A2AFrom my experience this is eitherA. You activate some mods thst missing ESM file (look closely at the mod page, some of the mod may not have ESP and ESM file in one package).B. Some of the mods are conflicted with one another (and/or broke)You may tried TESedit, LOOT, BOSS as other suggest but from my experience, this sort of apporach almost never work (unless you really miss something obvious). My go-to approach is to remove all of the mods then re-add them one by one until you find the culprint. Also make sure you install the Alternative Start: Live Another Life mod. It allow you to skip the prologue and so allow you to quickly check if your game is launching. If possible, I also suggest you to you MO (Mod Organizer) instead of NMM. It has some quirks but some of the option suggest by other (LOOT sortig) are already built in side the manager so you can easily do some of the basic maintainance of your game quickly.

Skyrim CTD problem when fast traveling to Markarth (NOT GUARD GLITCH)?

Hey I just encountered this last night, I can fast travel anywhere in the world except Markarth, its stables and Understone Keep, I was trying to go back there because I noticed one of my miscellaneous quests "Talk to Alverus" was still active, even though I already did it, as soon as I get to Markarth, be it on foot, by carriage or fast travel the game glitches 3 seconds after the load screen, could this have anything to do with Serena? (Dawnguard DLC.) I tell her to stay but she still follows me and if I tell her we should part ways she says "nuh uh" (or something similar) I dont know what to do and I dont want to start over or reinstall the game, any help guys?
Also I havent started the glitched Markarth quest, the only thing I can think of is that Serena killed a dragon on the roof of the Winterhold college and I didnt collect its soul, aside from that Ive tried everything, from playing with ultra low graphics to using the 4gb tool, and nothing works, also I only have Hearthfire and Dawnguard as DLC, I have no mods whatsoever, updated drivers and the latest update to the game as well.
