Smoking A Leaf Of Angels Trumpet

Eating angel trumpets?

i want to know the risks involved with eating the angel trumpet flower.
and what it does to you?
and what drug its like?

pleaseeeeeee tell me anything and everything you know. :]

Can you smoke Angel's Trumpet leaves?

I was visiting someone, tonight, who had an Angel's Trumpet plant (Brugmansia version). They said that someone told them they could smoke the leaves. Aparently, this guy smoked this stuff in his home country, like people normally smoke pot. All I seem to find, online, are stories of people making tea out of flowers and ending up in the hospital. I'm not able to find anything useful about smoking the leaves.

I accidentally touched a angels trumpet leaf?

Angel's Trumpets ate technically species of Brugmannsia. They are extremely poisonous and on no account should be eaten. But you only brushed against it? No problem, you'll be fine.

Angel trumpet plant used as a drug?

if you boil the angel trumpet flower in a tea, you probably will trip, but in my opinion it is not worth it. i have done this drug but i did not take it in a tea. other drugs i have done are ecstasy, salvia divinorum, marijuana, synthetic cannabis, and kratom.

heres my experience with angel trumpet: in my senior year of high school during lunch i went by myself to a park by my school. there were angel trumpet flowers available from a tree which grew from someone's backyard. so i ate only one flower whole. after a few minutes, i felt my heart beating a little fast and my stomach was a little upset. my eyes also became dry and bloodshot, although i did not feel high or anything at all. now, 4 hours later it was just me and my sister at home. i felt sleepy, so i laid on my mom's bed to take a nap. when i woke up, i found myself having a conversation with my mom, and so i said something to her, and then left the room, and saw that my sister was looking at me like i was crazy. it turned out that my mom wasn't in the room with me and she wasn't even home! i couldn't even remember the discussion i had with the illusion that i thought was my mom. later i found out that going to sleep activates the drug in hells bells (angel trumpet) when it is in you system so this is why it hit me only when i took my nap. so i was giddy about things and when i was walking, all of a sudden one of my legs would lose strength and i would almost fall. also, my memory was total crap. i couldn't hold a conversation with my sister and if i was talking about something, i would stop mid-sentence and forget what i was saying. my mouth was also really dry. after a couple of hours the effects wore off.

i don't recommend this drug because of the high toxicity it has, and the fact that it is easy to overdose on it. also, it isn't really a fun experience at all. i haven't heard of anyone having a good time on this drug. even if you do experience something good, you probably won't remember it. there is a reason this flower has been used as a poison and for torture in the past. also, my friend took some angel trumpet and he was spitting up blood.

Advice for smoking Datura Inoxia?

Im gonna grow a bunch of devil's trumpets & when they're finished I plan on smoking the leaves in a tobacco pipe.

I plan on taking lots of vitamins before so I start out healthy & I plan on having a cup of bentonite water ready as a detox.

Do you have any advice for when I try this?

How poisonous is an angel trumpet plant?

Roger, Your question caught my attention because when I was a little girl, we had this in our backyard and our black lab ate it. She suffered kidney damage and lived about 4 months before going into full kidney failure. My parents immediately had it removed and warned our family of it again when we bought our first dog. No warning was necessary. I will never forget how heart wrenching it was to lose my dog to a seemingly harmless plant.

The ASPCA makes it sound milder than it was for our lab:

"Angel’s Trumpet (Brugmansia suaveolens, Datura stramonium) does have toxic potential. Its toxic components include atropine, hyoscyamine and scopolamine, which can possibly affect the gastrointestinal, cardiovascular and nervous systems if large enough quantities are consumed. Therefore, we would advise you not to allow your dogs to nibble on this plant."
