So How Longs It Take Electrolysis To Take Care Of 5 Hairs And How Many Hairs Will Get Simulated

How painful is electrolysis versus laser hair removal?

I've had both. Electrolysis is perfect for non dark hairs on darker skin. It's slow. It's painful because the technologist don't have the good prescription strength numbing creams. In contrast ,As you may have heard, the best results for laser hair removal are achieved on dark hairs against a fair skin background. However, other factors influence the treatment process.Doctors who do laser hair removal can get you the strong numbing creams that make it virtually painless. It’s worth knowing that, with laser hair removal, timing is everything: to be effective the hair has to be in the right stage of its growth cycle (known as anagen). This is when the hair contains an abundance of melanin, which is what lasers are trying to target in an effort to disable that hair follicle. So, to achieve long term results, the laser must treat the hair in the anagen stage of hair growth. A series of laser hair removal treatments is needed to reach all of your hairs during this cycle, because your hair is not on the same cycle, each hair follicle cycles independently. (You should probably make sure you like talking to the person who’s doing your laser hair removal, you’ll be with them for a little while!)Jokes aside: before ever starting treatment for excess unwanted hair, it is important to have a qualified medical evaluation. This is because unwanted hairs can be associated with conditions you aren’t even thinking about: certain tumors and hormonal imbalances, for example. And removing the hair does not remove that important underlying problem. Still not convinced? If you have an underlying health condition that is not addressed, it is possible that a hair removal treatment you receive with lasers will simply not be effective.

How long would full body Electrolysis take for a 18 year old transgender woman?

Short answer. A very very long and painful amount of time. I am currently having just my face done. Keep in mind I am older with very well established facial hair. I have to shave every day and if I am going out in the evening…twice. I have been told it will take between 150 to 200 hours. Yes…it costs as much completely remove facial hair as the “surgery”. And since I cannot go as often as I would like it’s going to take me years.Since you’re only 18 it may take a lot less time since your beard is probably still light. As far as the rest of your body I think electrolysis should be the last thing you should try. If your hair is dark at all laser is faster and much cheaper. Waxing works but almost all the hair grows back. What helped me with body hair the most was hormones. I was never really hairy but hairy enough that I would shave my arms legs chest and pits every 3 - 4 days. I’ve been on hormones about 5 years. Now once a week but I can and have gone a couple of weeks and it’s barely noticeable. My arms once a month. I only have a few hairs on my chest that I pluck every now and then.

How painful is electrolysis versus laser hair removal?

I have had both treatments done.....both on my face (eyebrows), lips (upper and lower), and laser only on my legs, underarms, and bikini area.  I can tell you, unequivocally, that electrolysis is more painful than laser.  For electrolysis, the esthetician gave me a topical pain killer, which did not help at all.  It's like getting a tattoo, except they have to go into every single hair follicle to get the result you want.  The needle goes in, zaps the hair, the root dies, it falls out.  Supposedly it never grows back.  But hair grows in cycles, so a few weeks later, you go in for your next session for presumably fewer hairs to be removed, and so on, with each session.  Ugh.For laser hair removal, the esthetician shaves you where you want the hair removed;  this included my upper and lower lip, which was scary at the time.  For your face she'll set the laser to a lower level than for the rest of your body;  then she moves the laser over the area where the hair grows.  It is like a hot light pulse;  it is uncomfortable, but it is not unbearable.  When the next cycle of hair comes in, it is sparse and the session goes much more quickly.  I've only done this a few times with wonderful results (no pain, no burns, no down time with a "red mustache", no more hair).

How long approximately will it take to grow 5 inches of hair?

in the proper way, a year. hair grows 1/2 a month, and you should trim it every few months *6 weeks only if its really fried* only get a trim when you notice your ends looking a little sad...like splitting, thinning, fading or being limp. so you could get 6 inches in a year with out a trim, but remember hair splits faster then it grows, so you need to keep those splits at bay. Id say a year unless you hair is uber healthy or grows excessively quickly. I use Nioxin shampoo and conditioner when i grow my hair, it speeds it up and keeps it really healthy, but itll still take a long time to grow 5 inches.

How long does it take for bleached hair to grow out?

Normally, everyone’s hair grows at a rate of 0.5 inches per month. Depending on how short you want to cut your hair, you have the option to either wait for the hair to grow out or chop them off completely. The best option is, however, to let it grow out naturally. It may take some time and look a little unpleasant in the growing out stage, but you can eventually trim them. You can also condition and dye it in a darker shade than your original hair color because the dye usually fades away after washing. This way the dye color will match the original hair. It’s a relatively long process so it’s a good idea to get it done by a professional. Continue your hair routine without dying them again in the near future. Bleached hair is never going to come back to its original color so a quick solution is to cut them off, but if you don’t want to cut them short you will have to wait for them to grow out. Use growth enhancement techniques and solutions to cut down that wait time. Multivitamins, scalp massage, and essential oils can stimulate the growth.
