Messenger says someone was active 1m ago. What does this mean?
That would mean that one or more of their devices was on, and logged in. Many opt to stay logged in on social media outlets even wben they are not using them. Therefore if ever their device(s) are turned on and have data or wifi also on, other users will see the little green or blue dot accompanied by the elapsed time since what was just explained took place. Even if they didnt open messenger, it will still show them as logged inIt can also mean the obvious , that the respective user logged in one minute ago, but not always the case.Especially hard to explain to a jealous or insecure partner that fears their significant other has checked in on the sly. Even harder for them to grow up and get a clue/life… js

How can I turnoff my WhatsApp for few hours without deleting or uninstalling?
Yeah sometimes whatsapp can be irritating and you just dont want popups to disturb the work you are doing. Many other suggestions will be just to mute or close popups. But by doing this you will be still getting msgs on your whatsapp. so the best way to exit whatsapp for small period without uninstalling it, will be to clear its data. I will provide steps for doing that, but for now we will discuss what happens by clearing data.When we clear the data of particular application here we will consider WhatsApp, then it will delete the account linkup from WhatsApp. It means that your account will present on whatsapp but the application will not having your account. Thanks for A2A!Here is what I believe she has done.WhatsApp has some interesting (hidden) settings and shortcuts!A person can view your status and not appear on the viewers’ list if that person has unchecked ‘Read receipts’ option in the settings.Read receipts allow us to check whether the message has been sent and read by the receiver. Unchecking the box will now disallow us from keeping a tap on the read receipts.If you want to check out other people’s WhatsApps statuses and at the same time not appear on their viewers’ list you need to follow these steps,Go to Settings,Click on Account and then Privacy,At the bottom, under ‘Messaging’ section, you will see ‘Read receipts’ option (It is checked by default).Uncheck it. Now you will also be able to stalk your contacts’ status without popping up in their viewers’s list.There is a catch though. No it does not. A blue circle shows that your message is sending. A blue circle with a checkmark meaning is that your message has been sent. A filled-in blue circle with a checkmark meaning is that your message has been delivered.
