Try "Nightcall" by Kavinsky, kind of strange, but similar feel in a way. Also, "Something good can work" by Two Door Cinema reminds me of Midnight City. Almost the entire song is synth driven. So the catchy riff is a special keyboard synth, and that low part during the catch could either be guitar or a deep synth. Obviously drums and there's a lot of edited vocals in the background.

I listened to this song a few times, and everytime I hear it - it reminds me somewhat of a song that I grew up listening to. Minus is - I do not know the name. Maybe some of you out there have some kind of clue as to what I'm refffering to with this little information that I bring. Note; I'm a 90's kid, but the song may have been made earlier. In fact I'm looking for something like that too.As a M83 fan,a true one,This Bright Flash can be count as my favorite M83 work. M83 is a great band (while Anthony maybe the only one producing songs), with various music styles: house, trance, pop, and kinda shoegaze. The album , Hurry up, we are dreaming, is just a combination of M83’s styles.But of all those songs, This Bright Flash is a little ajar (how should I know this word) , I mean, sounds just like the early works of M83, full of so-called white noise and voices from nowhere. I'm not a professional music viewer, that's just the feeling I get when I hear that song.Alright ,alright, I know I just run away from the point. Let's keep going.
