Teens: Give me good music?
I know everyone knows the Beatles, so I'm not automatically going to say them. But I will say this: The Beatles. Also... Steam Powered Giraffe - one of my other favorite bands in existence, probably would have been the absolute favorite had I not heard of They Who Must Not Be Named. They're a band out of San Diego, and their thing is they're all robots - aka incredibly good mimes, fun actors, and wonderful musicians playing robot characters. Few favorite songs of theirs of mine below: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dDRHx4cPg... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQeeQjdU2... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DcNEzxTSv... If you like acoustics, music not from America but still in English, and generally nice good sounds, Isbells and Snowmine are two other favorites (one of each this time, to be fair): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GVs-CYmxXHM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iJIM_5584jA And though I don't meet many people at large who are pro, or at least impartial to, dubstep remixes of songs, I have a knack for finding what I believe are very good ones: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EsGiBwK4Ycc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LC_NwQVRN34 So thank you for your lovely question, and you're also beautiful and I hope you have a wonderful day. Asking strangers on the Internet for advice is the best advice I could give for anything. :)

Could you recommend a newly discovered, pretty obscure music artist?
To all modern music obsessives, I've tried using many many sites like last.fm or metacritic or iTunes to try and find similar albeit much less well known bands to the artists I already listen to. I have a reasonably broad taste in styles, I think, but usually stick to more modern bands. I've given a list of example artist below, but what I'm REALLY looking for is some little-known discovery you've made yourself, an artist that has their own unique sound but is still largely unknown. Thanks The Album Leaf, Arcade Fire, The Antlers, Beck, Bon Iver, The Decemberists, Explosions in the Sky, The Flaming Lips, The Hold Steady Iron & Wine, Joanna Newsom, The Knife, M83, The National, Okkervil River, Sigur Ros, Spoon, Sufjan Stevens, Wild Beasts, The xx, Yeah Yeah Yeahs

This isn't a definitive list of the greatest songs ever (too subjective); these are all just good songs that popped into my head while making this list (which helps to explain why it's so freaking long).
