What is the canonical team for Pokemon Heart Gold?
So for Pokemon Red/FireRed the canonical team is Pikachu, Venasaur, Blastoise, Charizard, Lapras, and Snorlax. So what's the canonical team for Heart Gold? I think it is... Togekiss (cause it plays such an important role in the game... it should the Johto counterpart to Pikachu) Meganium (starter) Feraligatr (starter) Typhlosion (starter) Red Gyardos (required to meet him) And... then... I'm not sure about the 6th one.. maybe Ho-Oh or Shuckle. Ho-Oh cuz ur required to meet it but it might not be canonical as to whether you catch it... and then Shuckle cuz you rescue it from a guy being bullied by ur rival. What do u guys think?
Poll: Pokemon Black or White?
Its really up to your choice. Legendary pokemon - Black has Reshiram. If you like Dragon and fire type pokemon, this is something to consider. Reshiram's signiture move is blue fire with 130% power and 85% accuracy along with cross flame. Nlue fire is learned at level 100 while cross flame is learned at level 50. - White has Zekrom, considered cool by some people, is an electric and dragon type. Zekrom can learn Fusion Bolt at level 50 similar to cross flame. At level 100, it can learn lightening strike with 130 power and 85 accuracy, just like Reshiram. - Both legendaries are equally powerful. The special cities - White has a special place unique to black called white forest where you can capture many types of pokemon not avalable in pokemon black. Some of these pokemon are Pidgey, Nidoran♀, Abra, machop, Bellsprout, Gastly, Rhyhorn, Porygon, Togepi, Hoppip, Magby, Wurmple, Seedot, Ralts, Slakoth, Aron, Trapinch, Shinx, bagon and Surskit. Items can only be found and not bought for endless amounts. - Pokemon Black has a Black city where items can be bought. However no pokemon can be caught at that area. Instead, you can battle trainers there with methods such as the rotation battle. Generally, I'd prefer white for all the pokemon. But I also like Reshiram better because it's a fire type. I have a hard time making this decision. You can also wait for the rumorous gray/grey version to come out, but that will mean waiting for 2 or 3 years. It might be on 3ds though. Bad news for the people who have ds' because we have to buy new game consoles just to play the game. If you have a 3ds or plan to get one, GREAT!!! Look forward to a new pokemon 3DS game.
