Feeling full several hours after eating?

Is it normal to feel fat after eating?

I’ll begin by saying I’m not a doctor, but I do know there are many reasons why you might feel bigger than normal or are bloated after having a meal. You are over eating. Eating bigger meal portions and eating after you feel full can stretch your stomach making you feel bigger than normal. You have an intolerance or sensitivity to certain foods. You might be vitamin or mineral deficient or possibly have an ailment that is being overlooked.Salty and carbohydrate-laden foods can make you feel fuller or bloated instead of satiated giving you that heavy feeling in relation to high energy spikes. There are definitely many things that could be causing this feeling so it’s best to listen to your body, do some responsible reading, see a Naturepath and also consult with your doctor. The best thing I can say is, keep tabs on the foods you eat and how your body reacts afterwards. Hope this helps.

Is it normal to feel nauseous after not eating?

Yes it is normal. When you don’t eat your insulin levels drop which forces your body into ketosis where your body targets your fat stores instead of carbs as a primary source of energy since you got no carbs on your system when you don’t eat for a period of time, when this happens your cortisol levels spike up causing you to feel miserable basically you live carb withdrawals so you enter the Keto flue which will take you weeks to get through it until it starts to feel normal when you use keto to burn fat and lose weight. You been used to eat constantly a bunch of times a day, so now you are forcing your metabolism to live something new basically a change, it takes time for the human body to adept to that change, imagine if you started for the first time the gym, what would have happened? You would have been sore because you are not used to that stress, same goes on with any diet or fasting, your body is not used to that new thing so it reacts in a way, until it gets used to it and it starts feelings normal, a change takes time and patience, it is perfectly normal to feel nauseous because it’s the first few times that you are going through that stress, carb withdrawals are severe that’s why most of the people don’t keep up with keto or fail to keep up because you’ll constantly feel miserable the first few weeks.

I don't feel full after eating a meal?

Personally, I think it is that you aren't eating what you really want to eat.

Your body has needs, your brain has to decipher what those needs are. Sometimes, your brain doesn't know what it needs to eat to get the nutrients your body is still lacking, and then you keep eating and your brain doesn't pick up the signal from your stomach that it is full, because it still needs certain nutrients and it makes you think you need to eat more in order to give it what it needs.

Take a water cooled automobile for example. You car needs gas, oil, water and maintenance to continue running smoothly. Let's say you give your car lots of oil, water and maintenance but no gas. How far are you going to get? The human body is a machine. It is just a softer and much more complex machine. The more complex, usually means the harder it is to diagnose.

I would suggest you start taking vitamins, and if you do take vitamins, switch them out from time to time to different vitamins. A good one a day vitamin may help you, but beware, no vitamin has everything your body needs, so you still need a good diet. Also, if you drink carbonated drinks, stop! Carbonated drinks stretch your stomach with air, when the soda is gone it leaves a lot of empty space that your brain thinks needs to be filled.

Why do we feel hungry 2 hours after we finish eating?

This is due to the rise in your blood sugar and then the rapid fall. I experience this almost everytime I eat any type of high glycemic carbs with my first meal of breaking a fast.I perform intermittent fasting, so when I eat a high glycemic food, it hits me like a truck. My energy plummets and my hunger spikes. The Fix:Don’t eat any high glycemic carbohydrates like bread, sweets, and I would even avoid beans and nuts. I find it much easier to manage my hunger after eating lunch if I avoid all carbohydrates as much as possible. I still experience an initial energy decline, but my energy increases after 30 minutes or so and I have almost no signs of legitimate hunger until about 5–6 hours later.PS: This eating style works with intermittent fasting, to learn more check out my site on my profile.

Is it normal to feel hungry every 3-4 hours, or is the waiting time meant to be longer?

It's normal. On average it takes about that long (3–4 hours) to completely digest your meal.So therefor you will be hungry again as your stomach will be empty. If you don't wish to eat large meals so often, try consuming little snacks throughout the day (high on protein preferably) to keep the hunger down. Also, try drinking water. It will fill your stomach, somewhat reducing your hunger. But in the end, if you are still hungry, that's just your body telling you it needs nutrients, and energy. So eat!

Is it normal to feel bloated after eating pizza?

Yeah. Pizza is a delicious monstrosity. If you’re lactose intolerant, you’ll get bloating. If you’re allergic to the wheat, you’ll get bloating. And it’s such a hodgepodge of ingredients that your stomach has trouble figuring out what to excrete to digest it. You salivary glands have to produce enzymes to start carb digestion, which can occur only in an alkaline environment. But then it hits the stomach where you need an acidic environment to break down the proteins. So the starches sit there for hours fermenting, causing gas.And have you ever noticed how easy it is to down an entire large pizza and feel full only because your stomach is extended so much and you’re in pain. Whereas you can eat only a few oranges or eggs and your body says, “Okay, that’s enough,” and there’s no pain in the stomach. And if you get acid reflux, the problem isn’t too much acid. It’s too little acid. You’re not digesting, sugars are fermenting, bacteria are farting, pressure is building, and the esophageal sphincter opens under pressure so the gas can escape but acids also escape. If you really want to screw up your digestion and health, take antacids. If you get bloating and acid reflux, try to eat carbs and proteins separately. It’s not a fix, but it is symptom relief. The fix is figuring out why you’re not producing enough acid to digest your food.

Why am I feeling weak after eating?

If this is weakness after one particular feast, food poisoning etc may be the culprit. If this is a recurrent issue, top on my list is reactive hypoglycaemia. This is a condition whereby a surge in blood sugar level after a heavy carb loaded meal is met with an excessive surge in insulin that create an overcorrection with resultant dropping of the blood sugar to abnormally low levels. This shouldn’t occur to normal people. Beware of potential diabetic conditions. Check your HbA1c level.
