Strange Dreams Now Lack Of Sleep

Strange dreams?

So I normally make my dreams a black in void so I can meditate in my dreams and clear my mind so I'll be refreshed in the mornings. But lately I can not control my dreams and i have been having the same nightmare which causes me to jolt awake in a cold sweat crying and a extremely painful headache. The dremel is watching my sister who I swore to protect with my life bleeding to death with my nieces dead in her arms while she is yelling I will never forgive you brother you promised to protect us why did you lie. The i watch her finally die as the police dragged me away. That is when I wake up whit those symptoms I described. Does anyone know why this would be happening to me I cant f any longer with this little amount of sleep.

Does lack of sleep make you paranoid?

I think I read somewhere that if you go several days without sleeping, then you may even start to hallucinate. Maybe your brain is so desperate to go through the sleep process that it goes ahead and attempts to do so even if you are awake.

Can lack of sleep make you see and hear things.?

I don't know about becoming schizophrenic permanently. I suffered from severe insomnia for years. I would be awake for 72+ hours, then sleep for 18 hours, then awake for 3 days again...repeat. It began in middle school and it's been like that since.

I finally got perscription medication to calm down my racing thoughts so my mind can be at peace and I could get a chance to sleep. If I don't take it I won't sleep for days.

It isn't permanent, but you can definitely see and hear things temporarily. It especially sucks when you know it's happening and you want to sleep...but you can't. And the more you hear and see things the harder it is to ignore them and sleep.

I would see people walking around my house, or I would come downstairs or go into the kitchen and see people sitting in the chairs even though the house was empty and they would dissapear after I do a double take.

It is most frightening if you look in a mirror because you could see someone coming up behind you, or a face that isn't yours.

If you have trouble sleeping it is best not to let it get to that point because it can be really scary.

Not sleeping also interfered a lot with my daily life. Getting medication was one of the best things i've ever done.

Is it normal to have no dreams while sleeping?

First off all not having dreams is completely normal. Dreams are your mind's creation. The human brain never sleeps. Even when you're sleeping your brain is still awake. You wouldn't be waking up the next day, if for any reason your brain slept off, to be funny, for the in-numerous functions it does even while you think you're sleeping. When you sleep your brain turns off certain nervous responses from organs like eyes, mouth, your hands, legs and so on, giving you a sense of relief from the busy day you just had which gives you the feeling of being energetic when you wake up, because then your whole system is re-invoked by your brain, theoretically.Interestingly, dreams don't occur the same way in every person's head. Sometimes, the dream may be related to his/her life, or a current real life situation, or sometimes a completely new and different world in itself. The human brain is interestingly creative, that is one argument no one has ever dared to ask, thanks to such creativity around us. But don't be dis-hearted. Having no dreams does not mean you're not creative or you cannot imagine. Another theory recently suggested that many people, in a world of only 25% of whom under a certain stress level which scientists call the minimum, have dreams that have been driven because "they are stressed". Not having dreams might be a sign that you just fall under that 25% of the world human population.Literally, no one can tell when or how a dream is to occur. You can have a dream even while taking a nap in your office cabin, let alone while you're sleeping at home. Or it is even possible you might not have a dream throughout your life, well that sounds like a joke, let alone say you live a life length equal to the recent world life expectancy, which is 71 years or 26K days, or 156K hours of sleep supposing you sleep an average of six hours a day, it sounds stupid saying that you won't dream at all.Yet, you cannot force a dream, not in any case (perhaps in the link below you might find an answer). That's why dreams are mysterious, they're beyond the understanding of the human mind. Even though the scientists may have made many discoveries related to how or why dreams occur, the human brain and dreaming are yet a mystery to be unlocked.Who knows, maybe you'll dream today? You might want to read these after you're through - Lucid Dreaming

I keep having dreams where I'm being chased. Why?

Dreams are interpretations of our lives, being played out in a dream. They are half imagination, and half realism. What ever we fear, desire, stress, illness, lack of sleep, a lose, anything that has or could happen in our lives, is acted out in our dreams. For instance in your dream you are being chased. Being chased in a dream doesn't always have to do with being chased. Maybe you are running from something, or someone, maybe you are hiding something and it is bothering you. Or maybe you have a fear, or a secret, or maybe you are just stressed out about something and this is your subconscious way of dealing with it. The thing is only you can really interpret your dream. All you do is take what you know is true in your dream and fill in the blanks. Something must be on your mind, or bothering you or you would not keep having the same dream. What is constant in your dream? Add that to whatever has been going on in your life and you will get your answer.

How can I get rid of headaches due to lack of sleep?

You can try a homeopathic medicine Nux Vomica 200. Nux Vomica is the name of the medicine and 200 is it's potency. Just ask for Nux Vomica 200 at any homeopathic medicine shop and he will give it to you. Take 4–5 drops of the medicine on your tongue, thrice daily for three days. Your headches should be relived. But do sleep. Medicine doesn't give you license to not sleep. Another important point that I need to mention that if you are taking any allopathic medicine for any problem then don't take Nux Vomica. It can nullify the effects of allopathy medicine.Headaches can be due to a variety of reasons. There are so many reasons for headache that there are more than 200 types of headaches. Whatever be the type of your headache, in majority of cases it is possible to get instant relief from headache that too without any medicine. Can lack of sleep cause random erections, and/or increased sex drive?

RETINAL STIMULATION - make it a point to go outside and stimulate your retinas (eyes) for about 15 minutes a day with sunlight. This "full on" light exposure can help restore your body's natural sleep/night cycle, also known as the "circadian rhythm." Looking straight into the sun is never a good idea, but being in an area where you receive the full brightness of the sun around you is what's recommended.

REDIRECT NIGHTMARES/BAD THOUGHTS – If you have a nightmare or stress-inducing thoughts, focus on a different ending. Write down your nightmare, or tell someone else about it to stop the continual thoughts.

CALMING MUSIC/SELF-HYPNOSIS - Listen to calming music, white noise, self-hypnosis or a "brain recalibration" tape for sleep. Such tapes are scientifically designed to help you "reset" your brain and calm down. When developed by researchers rather than marketers, they are remarkably effective. Just be sure to buy your brain recalibration audios from reputable sleep companies, and not slick marketing companies.

WRITE DOWN CONCERNS (<30 MINS) - Spend a few minutes before bed at night writing down your concerns and stresses, then hopes or things you’re thankful for, so that you can give your mind a rest while you are sleeping

I read your previous Question that you have Nightmares about killing yourself. Its actually normal Its occur to lots of people. <== I have read somewhat of a doctor saying that people do intend to have voilent dreams.

How can I start having more vivid dreams?

Well, they say that when Napoleon was exiled on the island of St. Helena, he would create vivid dream states that would take him back to Paris by sleeping in low oxygen conditions (such as under a blanket). I have used this technique myself to create some very vivid and interesting dreams.

When I was going through trouble in my life, I went for months with what seemed like no dreams. perhaps, the solution is to solve your tinnitus which can be a very serious condition (have you tried ear candling?).

I hope it works out for you!

What is the meaning of dreams about my teeth breaking/ falling out?

Dreams are unique to the dreamer but there are some universal symbolism and signs that may fit many dreams. Dreams of teeth falling out are among some of the more common dreams/nightmares like missing the school bus, missing a test, or my favorite, finding yourself naked in public.   It depends a little on which teeth are involved (number is also important), but generally it means you are not using good judgement about something in your life right now. Loosing front teeth may mean you're not thinking well about something in your life. If it's your molars, you may be lacking wisdom about something. The play on words is "loosing your wisdom." Your canine teeth often deal with protection like a watch dog. Our dreams are also a microcosm of our waking world. Are you wearing braces and focused on your teeth shifting? Or are you involved in a shifting change in life that involves communication but your teeth get in the way much like the idea of your words get in the way?Having loose teeth or teeth that fall out in a dream might represents:·        Instability in your life and the inability to “sink your teeth into the situation.” ·        Ambivalence about committing to a decision or direction·        Things often in the form of thoughts and beliefs are loosening up·        There is a shift in your thought process and you must lose the old thought to make room for the new. ·        It is difficult to express your thoughts when your teeth fall out because it impeads your speech.Dreaming of loose teeth indicate that you may feel unsettled concerning older beliefs, or unsure about what to do regarding an important matter in your waking life. What can you do to become more decisiveness in your life? I hope this helps to answers your incredible dream questions. Ask me anything in the comment box.
