How long do college applications usually take?

It depends what colleges you are applying to and how many. In general, private schools tend to have more 'short answer' questions, whereas public schools generally do not. It also depends on your essay writing skills. If you are using the common application, you will save a little bit of time. It would probably take you about an hour to do one application. But don't wait until the last minute! Seriously, just do it right now, at least the 'fill in the blanks' parts about your address, educational history, etc. Then you only have to worry about the essay. Do yourself a favor, by the way, and get someone else to read over it, just in case. Better safe than sorry.

What colleges can i get into with a 2.02 gpa (unweighted) and 1.98 (weighted)?

You can certainly go to school outside NY. However, your grades aren't good enough to get into an international university, and I'd imagine that you don't have the required AP exams.

You would get into any community college in the US. Some of them have dorms, so you'd have a place to live. Check out this list: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_co...

I very strongly advise you to apply to a community college or two, and to apply to them early in your senior year, so that you can get into their dorms (those tend to go quickly.) In addition, there are some four year schools in the US that you might have a shot at. They include: Granite State College, Indian River State College, Montana State U Billings, Nyack College, Pensacola State, New England College, Curry College, Mary Baldwin U, Lyndon State, Evergreen State College, Notre Dame de Namur, Thomas More College of Liberal Arts, U Maine Augusta, Concordia U Ann Arbor, Fisher College, Shaw U, Bloomfield College, Dean College, CUNY Medgar Evers, CUNY Staten Island. So you can see that you do have some four years to look at - but know that you aren't a lock for any of them, so while you absolutely should apply to some of these, because you really might get in; you should also apply to a community college as a backup, as I'd suggested.

If you do go to community college, you can transfer after one year if you'd like to. There are advantages to staying for the full associates degree, though - you'd find transferring your credits into another school easier after the associates. But it's really up to you.

Applying to college, Liberal Arts or Undecided?

I am currently applying to colleges and the major I choose, Business Management, requires a higher math that I can't take. The counselor at the school suggested changing my declared major to Liberal Arts or Undecided then declaring my major my sophomore year. What is the difference between Liberal Arts and Undecided? What classes would I have to take for each and what would benefit me more after college? Any suggestions on if I should still apply to the school for either of those then change later or not apply at all? Any suggestions/answers would be helpful!
Thank you!

2.95 GPA for college?

Most colleges want at least a 3.0 but imagine thousands of kids that have 3.0's and higher. Do you really think they are going to pass over a kid with a GPA higher than yours to let you in their school? So I hope you have clubs, good SAT scores and good essays. If not work on that. Maybe start off with a community college and then go to a University. There are many community colleges that have deals with Universities, you do your first 2 years with them and you automatically get into the neighboring University. You also save money that route. I do not know where you live so I can not recommend any schools but just ask your friends etc where they are going... type your state in google search and put Universities. You're going to have to do some research on your own to see what is expected.
