Teach Me A Life Lesson From Your Life.

What life lesson does marley and me teach you?

For me personal it would probably be never give up on anyone or anything and make the most of the situation at hand.

Also I would have to say PMA = Positive Mental Attitude. If you use optimism certain situations in your life would be made so much easier.

Treasure every moment would also be an important one.

There's a whole bunch...sorry all these are so vague. I'm just trying to give you something that you can go off of without doing your project for you. If you haven't already read the book, I suggest you do. It is pure genius to see the love and companionship that an owner can have with one dog and all these lesson's are represented throughout the book. My suggestion to you would also be to consider what John did as compared to other owners. Most would probably have given up on Marley in an instant knowing his behavior, but John used Marley's weaknesses and learned how to deal with them. I really hope this helps!

Life Lesson or Life Sentence?

I have to say that in my opinion life is all about respect. It's something my dad insisted upon his entire life. Respect other people without regard to any other fact except that they are human, rich, poor, black, white - made no difference to him. Our society is missing that and I really don't understand exactly what is missing from the formula. Today's parents can't teach their children what they, them self, don't have - but why don't they have it? I think that if today's children were properly taught respect for others, at least half the problem of crime would be solved in this country and there would be far fewer sentences of any kind..

How does the show Doogie Howser, M.D. teach life lessons?

Your question is a bit confusing because the expression "school paper" has two different interpretations. One meaning is "school newspaper." In that case, the subject might have been assigned to you by an editor or the faculty adviser for journalism, and it is perfectly reasonable that you might never have seen this program and have no idea how the episodes taught "life lessons." The other meaning of "school paper" is "written classwork assignment" as in an essay or report for course work. In that case, either the teacher has some reason to believe that you are familiar with this particular television program, or you selected the topic yourself and should be prepared to handle it. If you are in a situation where you are expected to write about a program you have never seen, you might try looking for some of the episodes online, watch a couple of them, and take a few notes. The general pattern of the scripts is that Doogie finds himself in adult situations, but he really isn't chronologically mature enough to handle them. He makes bad decisions and bad choices, struggles to "fix" whatever has gone wrong, and learns from the mistakes. You really need to watch a few of the stories to see how the "life lessons" are presented.

If you were my MENTOR, what is the FIRST "LIFE" LESSON you'd teach me?

Don't just react - unless you're dodging a striking snake. Be calm, and still, observe, consider, plan, act if necessary - then observe consequences, and reflect. Make this a habit. Then you'll be able to do it all quickly when necessary. Above all, observe, and think. These were the first lessons my Arab grandfather taught me when I was only two y/o - and the first I taught my children and grandchildren. I would rather have any of them beside me in a crisis than anyone I ever met. They're better at it than me! The later lessons included not to simply react to one's emotions, either, but to observe and consider them, along with the rest. Anger, for instance, can be used as stored energy, or armor, or for intimidating display when appropriate - but if merely suppressed it eats the holder - and if thrown thoughtlessly it betrays one's vulnerabilities, like any misused weapon - and if you allow it to use you, instead of you using it, it will cloud the mind and disempower you. Travel thoughtfully!
