Technical Support Situation I Am Confused About

I'm confused about what to do with my situation with my girlfriend?

OK, here's how it looks to me. Firstly I think you are correct in concentrating on your studies form then time being - I also think it is sound advice you are passing on to you GF about her looking to improve her academic background also. The problem of course is, she looks at things a little differently. Firstly either her (or her mother) are starting to worry a little if you will ever marry her - I'm sure there has been a mention/doubts at times about being together 5 years and not marrying ( which is I believe sensible at your age, but again, her and/or her mother may see it as a waste of her time if marriage and a family does not eventuate) . Also on the academic front, it seems perhaps your GF is thinking more and more about a housewife/mother career rather that one in the workforce, as even with your help and support she doesn't seem as motivated as you are it that direction. So what's the answer - Rushing into a marriage now just to keep her happy is certainly not the answer. I get the feeling this girls is also rather possessive, one night gaming should not be a big deal - so be prepared for your personal freedom to become very limited if/when you marry. Probably her mother dotes on her 24/7 and she will expect the same for you, which if your are studying/working in a high profile job will not be possible.I would suggest then to keep the peace ( and to keep this girl, if that's what you really want, although I wonder if perhaps already you aren't starting to grow apart a little? ) that you set a wedding date, but make it well in the future, say 2 years time at least. That then gives her a date, lets you get on with studies/find a good job, and in the meantime see how keen she is to improve herself. I wouldn't be surprised if the gap between you however widens, and before long you find perhaps she is not the ideal/motivated long term partner you are looking for.

Emotional support animal not being allowed. Confused about my rights.?

I've gotten a note from my doctor that states having an animal around for my depression and anxiety will help me and that the apartment management needs to make accommodations for me but my landlord says that he didn't fill out their paper work.

She sent him paperwork asking if I was disabled and he refused to fill it out. Like the stupid idiot I am I signed this release for with out realizing that I probably shouldn't have but I'm just wondering...

Does my note from my doctor mean nothing? He checked a box on their paperwork saying that I wasn't disabled but he still said it would be beneficial for my depression.

I went to a second doctor who said he'd fill out the paperwork for me but I'm still wondering about my rights in this first situation.

I am confused about gerber supported sitter food..?

My son is 3 months old, and he can sit on his own with support, lets say on a couch, on his high chair with back support, and on his bumbo chair. But I know babies are not supposed to eat until about 6 months, so how come the gerber website says its ok to introduce first foods like cereal and the fruit purees once the baby is a supported sitter?

No answers like "ask your doctor" lol I know im waiting until at least 5 months or more to introduce cereal and other soft foods, but I'm just curious about the gerber stages

I am in a situation in life where I am totally confused about my future, what I am doing, and what I want to do. There is a constant fear of what my future holds, career options, etc. I am not able to overcome this fear. What should I do?

I would like to quote Robert Frost's poem "The Road Not taken"..Whenever i am in dilemma like you,I just go through it... Hope it helps you.."TWO roads diverged in a yellow woodAnd sorry I could not travel bothAnd be one traveler, long I stoodAnd looked down one as far as I couldTo where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair,And having perhaps the better claim,Because it was grassy and wanted wear;Though as for that the passing thereHad worn them really about the same,And both that morning equally layIn leaves no step had trodden black.Oh, I kept the first for another day!Yet knowing how way leads on to way,I doubted if I should ever come back.I shall be telling this with a sighSomewhere ages and ages hence:Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—I took the one less traveled by,And that has made all the difference."Finally I would add that just enjoy the present...Future will follow as per your present..Worrying about what future may hold is like worrying about the possibility of a war which might happen in future if things didn't work well between the then President of USA and his peer in USSR.. So just live your present. And even if you take any wrong step,by chance, then am sure when you think about it in future,it will make you smile thinking that may be it was necessary for the good things that came on your way....All the best...

I was allocated on support project at Infosys, what should I do? I am a fresher?

All good answers.Same happened to my friend. We both joined Infosys together. He had BTech in CS and I was BTech in Biotech. He was a real coder, a geek in true sense. However, I got a development project and he was put on support.I saw him spiralling into depression. Infosys did little to help him.The problem with IT companies is the mismatch between skill possessed and skill required. They take decisions based on their requirement and not what skills you may have. And once you get assigned to a project, it's really difficult to get a re assignment.I have only one advice for you. Leave before it's too late. Find another job. It's your career and you have the right to chose the path you believe you can walk.

I am confused about my career path!?

Well.

To start at the end of your question, Museum curation is not quite a viable career path for someone just out of college. It requires an immense knowledge of art and history, as well as significant skills in organizing and cataloging. I can't place my finger on a source at this second, but I believe it requires a Master's Degree in some sort of art history, followed by up to a decade of internships to learn the trade itself, years of which can be unpaid. It's a hard life.

So, failing that, the requirements you've placed on your future career are: travel, art collection, nature, inspiring events, and a lot of money. If your interests lie in art, consider becoming involved in the private side of the business. That is, art dealing, or running a gallery. It's a more capitalist field than an academic one, so the degree and training requirements are far lower. However, success is defined by how much you can profit buying and selling works of art. You'll be made or broke by your connections, and your ability to sell. I don't know much about this, beyond my college roommate's dad is involved in the scene in boston, and does very well for himself.

All I can say is, pursue your passions. If you're in dental school because you want to be wealthy, not because you enjoy medicine or helping people, you might be in the wrong field. However, yahoo answers is not the place to be deciding your career path. Mine your contacts for anyone that is involved in paths you may choose to pursue. Once you find someone, get an introduction, and ask them for an information interview, or to shadow them in their job for a day. If you think you like something, spend a summer month or two interning to get the feel of it. Hopefully you find something you like enough to make a (first) career out of.

I am confused about rebirthing. what is it?

By regression and going to past memories this can release negative links we have with the past . Our minds work on a conscious level while awake, but our subconscious is always running , dominates conscious thought, controls our habits, leads us to pleasure, away from pain, and only acts upon the information we have stored; the main criteria is for our very survival and will protect us . As subconscious can only act and store information " in the moment " is not logical and can sometimes get it wrong, OR if it cannot make sense of that situation - if it has overwhelming emotional content , will protect you by not deciphering that information and will leave this "on the back burner" so to speak until you are stronger and better equipped to face the situation. This is briefly how and why PTSD is formed .
Some people believe we carry unresolved emotions from former lives. However with a reputable hypnotherapist and going thro regression , this is not at all dangerous, as our sub conscious would not allow us to do any thing it considers a threat to us , nor would the hypnotherapist.
However help with PTSD can also be obtained through EFT. This is a method of releasing emotional content from past memories that still influence you and your reactions to situations. It is based around tapping (so stimulating ) acupuncture points , replacing the need of needles .
I am a hynotherapist , blending other therapies ( EFT included) to obtain satisfactory results ; ensure the hypnotherapist is registered with a governing body such as GHR .
