Tell us about your academic achievements during your secondary education. I have no idea what do i write about?
i have to answer this in my university application in a 500 words essay but i have no freakin' idea what to write about in this field? my secondary school just had 5 classroom subjects, no art class no wood/metal work or anything. i had fairly good secondary school grades, but i dont think that can make up more than 50 words? what do i write about? can i write about honors and awards? what else?
What academic achievement could I write about?
I'm a junior in high school and I'm applying to a program at a university during the summer. One of the short essay questions is to write about a recent academic achievement. I'm not sure what is included in that category and I haven't received any academic awards. Any ideas on something I could write about? I recently took the ACT and it improved alot since the PLAN, could I write about that? (I don't remember my PLAN score though, so could I go without mentioning it). Thanks for suggestions! :)
What achievements should I write about in a college essay?
Well if you’re like me and have done very little activities in high school your list is probably going to be very short but here are some things you could add:Sporting achievement (Even if it’s playing a sport for a long time or running a “fun run”)Music achievement- Don’t talk about your new mixtape but talk about school band or choirAny academic award or coming first in a class- I put down an award I received for a science projectWork Experience: I put down talking about my achievements at work experience at a newspaper but you could probably put down ay parttime jobLeadership experience: assistance coach, supervisor role or Camp or youth LeaderAny Personal achievement: Volunteer work maybeWhile most of these examples aren’t explicitly achievements you can shape any significant experience in your life to sound like an achievement.
Do you think that school marks really tell the intelligence of a person?
Grades and intelligence are two different things. High intelligence makes getting good grades easier, but somebody's grades are mostly determined by their actions and willingness to work within the framework of school.Myself as a personal example I will say NO. I have an IQ of 127 give or take 5. My graduating high school GPA was 1.8. Which is a high D average. College was a different story, but it was my choice to succeed there.High intelligence gives kids the chance and a greater ability to receive high marks or grades but that generally lies in personal choice and work ethic. From my experience knowing a wide spread of kids and their IQ's at the high school level I have to be honest in saying that I have kids with 140 IQ's and low grades and kids with 80 IQ's and awesome grades.

Requirements for Universities like Oxford or Cambridge?
I've checked the website but of course they have another language about the requirements. Is anyone out there familiar with these college admission requirements? Whats a good enough SAT score for them? AP Classes? Do they count? ACT? SAT 2 Subject Tests? Interview? GPA? Anything that will help me
