The Bible Says The Earth Was Made 6 000 Years Ago But Scientists Say Is Was Like Ten Billions

Why do Scientists say the world is 4.54 billion years old, and according to the Bible it is only 6000 years?

.
Here is where and how the Bible says that the earth is about 6,000 years old:

Genesis 5:3 And Adam lived 130 years, and begot Seth
Genesis 5:6 Seth lived 105 years, and begot Enosh
Genesis 5:9 Enosh lived 90 years, and begot Cainan
Genesis 5:12 Cainan lived 70 years, and begot Mahalalel
Genesis 5:15 Mahalalel lived 65 years, and begot Jared
Genesis 5:18 Jared lived 162 years, and begot Enoch
Genesis 5:21 Enoch lived 65 years, and begot Methuselah
Genesis 5:25 Methuselah lived 187 years, and begot Lamech
Genesis 5:28 Lamech lived 182 years, and begot Noah
Genesis 5:32 Noah lived 500 years, and begot Shem, Ham, and Japheth
Genesis 11:10 Shem lived 100 years, and begot Arphaxad 2 years after the Flood

Add all these up and you get 1,654 years from Adam until the Flood + 2 years and Arphaxad was born. We continue in Genesis 11:12 Arphaxad lived 35 years, and begot Shelah
Genesis 11:14 Selah lived 30 years, and begot Eber
Genesis 11:16 Eber lived 34 years, and begot Peleg
Genesis 11: 18 Peleg lived 30 years, and begot Reu
Genesis 11:20 Reu lived 32 years, and begot Serug
Genesis 11:22 Serug lived 30 years, and begot Nahor
Genesis 11:24 Nahor lived 29 years, and begot Terah
Genesis 11:26 Terah lived 70 years, and begot Abram, Nahor, and Haran.
(Abram's name was later changed by God to Abraham--see Genesis 17:5) So, if you add up these numbers, you get 290 years from the flood to Abraham.
Now, if you skip over to Matthew 1:17, you will see that it was 14 generations from Abraham to David, 14 generations from
David to Deportation to Babylon, and 14 generations from Bablylon to Messiah. This is 42 generations from Abraham to Jesus. If we make an ASSUMPTION of 40 years per generation, this places Jesus birth at 1,680 years after Abraham.

So, to summarize, we have 1,654 years from the beginning (Adam) to the Flood, then 290 years to Abraham, then 1,680 years (give or take a week) from Abraham to Jesus. Jesus was born in 4 BC, so from then til now is 2,017 years. This adds up to 5,641 years for the age of the earth; based on an assumption of 40 years per generation. You can rerun the figures with whatever number you feel is realistic years per generation, but you don't get millions or billions. Those numbers are reserved for Congress and evolutionists.

Does the Bible say that the world was created 6000 years ago?

As far as I can tell, the Bible picks up a man called Abram in Genesis 12, he is dated about 4000 before Christ. Moses wrote Genesis the book of beginnings. As mentioned in Genesis chapter 1 God created the heavens and the earth in 6 days. Many theories arise from the gap theory to the six literal days and the 6000 year old theory. How old is the earth or the universe? There is a reference in Job to some prehistoric creatures roaming around. Also in Isaiah it refers to the circle of the earth many years ahead of science only in the age of Christopher Columbus did they discover the earth was round. Finally, in Isaiah there is an indication to a pre-existed earth relating to Genesis 1:2 that the earth was formless, chaotic and void. This alludes to Lucifer who got thrown out of heaven ( Isaiah 14, Luke 10:18–20, Revelation 11). He became Satan.God destroyed the old earth and created a new one?Gap theoryThat Genesis 1:1 to Genesis 1:2 there is an unmentionable amount of time. The six literal daysSays they were 24 hours each and God rested in the Sabbath or the seventh day.1 day is a thousand years 2 Peter 3:8.Again this theory says 6000 years it took God to create the heavens and the earth.God spoke the worlds into existence Genesis 1:3 and they are upheld by the word of His power Hebrews 11:3, 10–11. When He speaks we know that there is creative power in the spoken Word of God. The question is how quickly do these things materialise? In the account of Jesus cursing the fig tree in Mark 11 within 24 hours it was dried up from the roots. V20–21.

Is earth 6000 years old or 4.57 billion years old or the earth is 4.57 billion years old and the world is just 6000 years old?

The fundamental problem here is that some folks have mistaken the invention of writing for the creation of the world. Turns out, they're not actually the same thing.

Earth 12,000 or 4.5 Billion years old?

Sorry Folks I know Darwin never said 4.5 Billion yrs I used Darwin to mean Science & Evolution in general.

Old earthers...Please check your paridgm before answering... there is evidence of a young earth, please think before answering...Scientific Dogma will not be rewarded with points... please feel free to disagree; but, let's agree now that we as humans... scientific or faith based in our beliefs don't know everything...OK?

Young Earth Creationists: If the Earth is only 6000 years old, how do you explain?

Or trees with approximately 10,000 rings (one per year).

Do you believe that the Earth is 4.5 billion years old according to science, or 6000 years old according to the Bible?

Nowhere in the Bible does it say the Earth is 6000 years old. Nowhere. The 6000 year idea comes from Bible scholars who add the geneologies in the Bible giving 40-45 yrs to individuals who are not given ages. One of the problems with this is that Paul warns us against this in Timothy when he says not to "devote yourselves to endless geneologies" because it promotes dissention and conflict. It creates false doctrines and we see today the endless arguments like this and the faith looking ignorant in the face of science.Further, the Bible says a day is like a thousand years to God and a thousand years a day. This shows that God is outside of our 3 or 4 dimensions of space and time, which if God is creator he would be.Next, when looking at the 7 days we have to define "day". This is a measurement of the time it takes for the Earth to rotate once on its axis. But if God is outside of our dimensions then perhaps we are talking about a Godly universal day. Perhaps a rotation of the universe.Further, even in our dimension of time said time is relative to distance from the the observation and velocity. Therefore time would have been "slower" as the Universe, so close to the point of "Big Bang" would have been moving at a much faster rate. There is also some debate about the Hebrew word day as it is used without a definite article. In Hebrew this would not have meant a single 24hr Earth day but a division of some undefined period. And given entropy as the Universe slows and cools the 4.5 Billon that Geology hypothesizes isn't correct either, as Geology fails to include space/time entropy into its calculations.Either way, since modern physics points to the fact that reality is not infinite but that we are living in a "digital simulation" or hologram arguing over time is irrelevant.Perhaps my hologram is 6000 years and yours 6 billion. Perhaps the world is only 6 seconds old. You can not mathematically prove that its isn't. And to try to otherwise is only mans arrogance.
