Why was daenerys targaryen's baby monstrous in game of thrones.?
I get that the sorceress cursed her and used the life of the child to save drogo. but the description in book says he had been dead for years inside her that his skin fell off when touched and there were scales, a tail, blind, leather wings like that of a bat, and his insides were full of graveworms. Now the insides, the blindness, even the skin falling off i can attribute to the curse. but the scales, the tail, the wings all sound like a dragon. I'm aware that she says she has the blood of dragons but it's always seen as a metaphor. Her ancestors thought they could become dragons but never did, and theres never any mention of people actually becoming dragons or giving birth to dragons or vica versa. So does dany have actual dragon blood in her and the ability to actually give birth to dragons or was the child looking like a dragon purely because of the curse. If the answer to this reveals any spoiler later on please don't ruin anything after season 3.
Game of Thrones-esque Baby Names?
My husband and I would like to use a name that's more in the style that George R. R. Martin used for his books/the show, since we both have names (not directly) from the series. Think in the style of Sansa, Myrcella, Cersei, Roslin, and Melisandre. Thank you, in advance.
