Do we need a coating of white cement before applying wall putty and painting on walls? And what is the order of coating ?
In case of fresh painting a wall,white cement is never required before wall putty and paint. For repainting also it is not required. Only the cases where there is some damaged plastered walls are there or there is some defect in the plastered walls especially, we need to apply white cement. Please see the image below.In this image the plastered has gone off the wall. In this situation we can apply white cement for the REPAIR work. White cement is needed only in repair works. In case where, you have done the plastering but by mistake you got the edge of the wall damaged, like in given picture below.The man in the image is applying white cement to repair the damaged plastered wall.Only in these cases, we need to apply white cement.Now coming to steps for FRESH painting a wall.Step 1 When you are done plastering your walls, look for any defect if there is any, then repair it using white cement.Step 2 If you are done with this, then apply putty over the surface. It is generally advisable, to apply two coats of putty for getting that smooth and finished surface. Putty is also needed to fill the small void spaces in the walls and have a smooth surface.Step 3 Make sure that you apply putty all over the surface first. It should not happen that you first apply putty over one wall and then you apply PRIMER to that wall. you should first done puttying all the walls that you want to paint and then apply the PRIMER.Step 4 Now comes the step to apply PRIMER. For those who don’t know about why we should apply PRIMER for painting, we need to understand that a PRIMER is needed to make the paint stick to the surface of the wall. If it is the case of FRESH PAINTING, it is very important to apply PRIMER. If not,then it may happen that your paint may peel off from the wall.Step 5 When you are done applying PRIMER, then you should go for applying paint. How do I cook sausages without setting the fire alarm off?
Okay firstly I know the question itself sounds funny, and this is a genuine question, basically mine and my mums grill broke a few months back so we've been putting what we would on the grill in the oven, so like bacon, waffles, and so on, it's an electric oven, and everytime I cook sausages all the fat falls to the bottom and loads of smoke comes out of the oven, I've tried everything and I was wondering if anyone had an ideas on how I could cook sausages without setting the fire alarm off and scaring my dog XD hahaha I really want sausages so any help is good ;)
Anything wrong with using animal fat to lubricate guns?

I was going through some of our emergency supplies and found some plastic containers of cooking oil from 1986. I tried them and they were fine especially the canola oil which had the exact same consistency and flavor after all those years. Some don’t realize that rendered fat can last for many years without going bad and vegetable oils can last for decades. Minerial oils can last longer than we do. As in my previous answer I pointed out that in some places right now around the world law enforcement and military members are using cooking oil for their issue weapons including AR types of weapons. And they function just fine. The only real problem with rendered animal fats is some may have salts in them. However I have some orginal black powder guns made in the late 1700s and early 1800s that were oiled using all sorts of crap and they look and function just fine. They developed a nice patina color from being oiled over bare metal for so long. I find it funny so many cant believe people are using vegetable oils and oils from animals on modern full auto weapons in 3rd world countries. Those people simply don’t get issued modern gun oil and cleaners whenever they need it. They get their AK-47 a cleaning kit ( many times they get no cleaning kit) and ammo and that’s it. Americans have been convinced only certain manufactured oils made specifically for guns will do. That’s simply not true and history proves that. I would not be afraid of using rendered whale or bear fat if I had to in fact I tried it with only one problem; it got thick in cold weather.
