Can a 16 month old baby tip over a pack n play?
My son loves to push on the sides of his pack n play, sometimes with a bit of a running start (while he is in it) and I have seen it lift off the ground a little bit. Is it possible for him to tip it all the way over if he pushes hard enough? My husband says no, but I am concerned because that is where he sleeps since he started being able to climb out of his crib. Thanks in advance!
Opening home daycare, tips?
I run and in home certified child care. I am certified to have six kids. I'm CPR and First Aid trained and to keep my certification I have to attend 6 hours of training a year. My first piece of advice is to make sure you have a contract between you and all your parents that you have a copy and they have a copy signed. It will state when you expect to get paid, about absences, and vacation and what holidays you are going to be closed. I would wait to see what ages you are going to get before you go out and buy a lot of items. You might go and look at some yard sales and see if you can find some toys that are in good shape for a reasonable price to start out with. Also, if you are going to be certified you can see if you can apply for a grant. I received a start up grant for $300. How I got most of my kids when I first started was I put up a flyer in my OBGYN office. Tips for toddler and newborn sharing a room?

I accidentally hit my baby cousin playing wii now I feel really bad. Advice?
So today we had our thanksgiving dinner. After dinner a few guests stayed in the other living room and was chatting, but my baby cousin(4 yrs old), myself, and two other guests went to a different room to play wii. My baby cousin and i were playing wii bowling, she was losing and didn't want to play anymore so she walked behind me to leave. I was swinging the remote back and hit her (i guess somewhat hard) on the cheek. I felt really really bad and guilty, I chased after her. A few minutes later I went back into the room with the wii and one of the other guests said " Good job on beating up...." I'm sure they were just joking around, but that made me feel even worse. I might be being paranoid about this but I feel guilty, bad, and embarrassed. Advice anyone or your opinion on this situation? Sorry for such a long detail.
